Yuukoku no Moriarty

Both anime portray a young morally complex mastermind who sets out his plan to change the world for the better in his own way of understanding it. Such plot naturally leads to his confrontation with the law and the current world order resulting in an intelectual contest, a cat and mouse chase, between him and his lawful nemesis. If you liked either of the series, I have little doubt you will enjoy the other too. Nevertheless, they both differ significantly. First, Light (Death Note) is rather self-centered and expresses a clear desire to change the world so he can be on top of it. On the contrary, William (Yuukoku no Moriarty) understands his role as a personal sacrifice and is internally willing to face judgement if necessary. This is one of the reasons why his story is more cheerful and light-hearted in opposite to the Death Note which bears pretty grim atmosphere of fear and tension throughout the series.

7 Seeds
|
Both Koutatetsujou no Kabaneri and 7 Seeds are set in a world where civilization as we know it ceased to exist due to some catastrophe. The main characters are bound to fight for their survival in one way or another. Moreover, the humans are threatened not only by the dangers of the post-apocalyptic world but also the hatred among themselves. The subliminal topic of both stories is the corrupted morality of the rule that "strong live and weak die".

Hundred

Although both anime vary significantly in the overall atmosphere and theme they share couple significant similarities. Both storylines follow a young male protagonist with a female companion waging a fight against monsters that threaten the human civilization. Both duo of protagonists also possess some unique power originating from their sworn enemy; in both cases they are half-human and half of the other. Aside form that, the main villain of both series leads their campaign, which causes suffering and death to completely innocent people, out of personal vendetta. The Koutetsujou no Kabaneri is set in a much darker tone (comparable to that of Attack on Titan) while the Hundred plays on more lighthearted comedic note.

Basicaly, Happy Sugar Life is a "Mirai Nikki on steroids". Mirai Nikki is more focused on the story and character developement, whereas, Happy Sugar Life focuses more on the Yandere character herself.
