My review was taken down by IMDB, so I decided to post it here.
This won cultural awards and is most influential piece of media in human history according to Times.
Tanjiro is flawless goody 2 shoes character who is perfect in everything he do. They told us that his goodness is his flaw that is why he brakes his sword, because he hesitates to kill the Demons.
Do you know how they resolved this character flaw? The blacksmith guy makes him a better sword. The END.
Nezuko is added as another trope, plot device, just to be cute and wholesome, just to be likeable for masses and that´s

Other characters are basically the same. One trait, one dimensional, or just comedic relief characters. Even if they have flaws there are not portraited as flaws and they do nothing with them.
Power system is basically just random breathing techniques. One is suppose to be stronger than another one and that´s it. The power ups are happening during battle to make masses cheer for our flawless protagonist. Basically:
The sword turned black! His sword turned black! The sword is black! My sword turned black! My sword is black!
They literally voice acted the same sentence 5 times while showed us on the screen his sword turning black. I started questioning my self if it really did turn black.
These are details you missed because there is epic music in the background flashy animation made by one of the cutting edge animation studio Ufotable.
B-but he is hating the show because it is popular. Yes, and you love it for the very same reason.
If you love the show you are free to do so. But do you really think it deserves those praises? It is a story that could be written better by high schooler.
And it is generational defining and it will become even more popular with more action packed upcoming arcs. Makes me sad for all those writers and mangakas who are crafting and writing chapters for months, years, decades, learning, reading, doing side jobs, just to be out-clowned by this.
