Both animes are more about character development and life itself rather than the music/sport. There's a good dosis of humor and drama, also the direction in both animes is amazing. The characters gonna learn from each other trought the series.

In both series the main characters are unknown from each other but they're gonna be teammates/pals to achieve one goal, they gonna be strugling to achieve that too. Plot outside, both series touches realistic topics in a special way, praise to the direction. Also the humor is really well handled with the emotional moments.

In both animes there's a protagonist that, even when their life is quite good, they feel very empty somehow, they're gonna get trought a lot of development. Both animes touches traumas, emotional and dark moments for the characters, they have cute moments as well.
