Wow, every once in a while you get something different in the harem genre... In this manga instead of the main character being a small, innocent, wimpy kid, the main character is a a small child-like, arrogant and extremely strong adult thats only PRETENDING to be a small, innocent, wimpy kid. Amazing, what a breakthrough manga. Of course, you can take my above sentences in 2 ways, sarcasm or truth. Now in my review you should be able to work out which one it is, as the manga is an... interesting one.
Story-6
Herpa Derp, its a harem manga, so if you think there is going
...
to be a clannad like story here, then you are in the completely wrong place buddy. Now that we've got rid of people actually wanting a story, let me tell you about this "harem picturebook". Basically, an all powerful master of mercenaries looks like a kid. A kid that has almighty powers but needs someone really powerful to look after her while shes at school because everyone wants her power. So amazingly, this master of kungjitsu (I use this to name overpowerd fighting styles) pretends to be a student in this school of mercenaries to protect the girl. Sounds not too bad eh? Too bad it follows the path of the overpowered guy --> underlings get but kicked ----> overpowered guy comes in the nick of time and destroys the enemy and saves the girl. Rinse and repeat, it's so predictable its boring, so they action scenes in between the fan service is average, lacking any real surprise.
Art-5
Have you ever the phrase "She/He would look hot if you put a paper bag over his/her face". This is the perfect manga to apply this. The face art in this manga is goddamn horrible. And I know why. Its because they put all their effort into the characters "other" assets. Thats right, the body's look really good in this manga, in more ways then one. Too bad I can't get over there ugly faces, it just ruins the the characters. Another problem is that the fights scenes are drawn averagely, as more effort is put into showing the women in awkward postions instead of actually showing fighting but hey its still fan service right? So its all good? , But in doing this fights look really confusing. The background images are nice though!
Character - 7
Another really "amazing" idea these people came up with is that, why not make the main female protagonist love the protagonist in more ways then one. So the female protagonist with multiple personalites was born. To bolster up the harem, each personality of the female protagonist are completely individual, with their memories and ability being all different, who come out at different situations the orignal personality is in, with each one of them falling for the protagonist. Now this actually sounds like a neat and interesting idea, too bad each of the personalities fall into the tried and tested cliches (i.e tsundere and local slut), so really it would have been the same to each personality have their own body. Of course, the women the protagonist beats the shit out of also come to respect him and fall in love with (like we haven't seen that before), as well as some classmates thinking his super cute because of his little boy facade. Wow
Enjoyment - 7
Meh, I like my comedy funny, but the times it actually made me laugh were few and far between, with it also taking itself too seriously. Also, as I said before the action scenes were also fairly average as well as every fanservice moments being ruined by the god-awful faces. With it failing at both light weight comedy and serious action manga you'd think I would not enjoy it all. But I did. And I don't know why, maybe because despite all its flaws it still manged to keep my attention, maybe for alot of the wrong reasons, but it still kept my attention. Plus only a few chapters are out, so it wasn't enough to make me go crazy.
All in all, this manga had some interesting ideas that were unique to the harem genre, but was let down by execution and and the placing of characters into cliche personalities. Though if your looking for a quick read, the first chapters only 50 pages long... oh wait, nevermind. Seriously though, it still is readable though I wouldn't recommend it, so this manga is just average and if you've got nothing to read, average manga is still alright. In conclusion, what do you think the answer to my 1st question is?
Thankyou for reading my review and if you have any advice for me or mistakes found in the review please don't hesitate to give me a shout in my comments section. Seeya

A common stereotypical character throughout the world of manga and anime is the perverted male. Whether it be a supporting or a main character, you will generally find a guy that tries anything to see one of the female cast members naked body or that randomly spits out perverted one liners, all of which the females are disgusted at, with this being done all in the name of comic relief. Well, this manga goes down a rarer route and flips that entire stereotype on its head. This manga is about the life of the "delinquent" Hara Fujimura (which in other words means holy saint that
...
is misunderstood) and his "stalker" Usami, a really perverted girl who fits the above stereotype perfectly, with the delinquent fitting in the role short-tempered girl who flips out at anything perverted. Of course, no romance would be complete without a harem, so a bunch of other eccentric characters join and also fall madly in love with him. Fujimura doesn't like any of these girls in a romantic way and really doesn't want this harem. Of course, this is recipe for a hilarious comedy.
Story - 7
Harem comedy + story = Nothing in existence. In all seriousness, this manga is especially lacking a story, even for a harem comedy. This manga have fairly unrelated arcs that are pretty much episodic in nature, so there is very little development. Sure there maybe a new introduced character here and there, but it really doesn't go anywhere. But what else do you expect, if you are looking into this manga, you have come here for the laughs, not a deep meaningful story. If you want a story, go read Death Note or something. While I'm on the subject of laughs, this manga gives it to you by the bucket load. While it may have a nonexistent story, it does what its set out to do and it excels at this, which is being funny. The characters are hilarious (which I will get to later) and the jokes are of really good quality, especially the random pervertedness of Usami. Of course, with the pervertedness comes the the "sexual" stories that are fairly inappropriate to show to a 5 year old, but are very comedic for us big mature older people. Overall, the story is 99% laughs and 1% development, but if you switch your brain off you won't care a bit.
Art - 7
Wow, a harem comedy with fan service being pretty much non-existent. Yes thats right people, clean up all that drink that you just spat all over your monitor, cause you heard me right. Amazingly, this harem comedy did the impossible, create a harem with pretty much no fan service without causing the universe to explode. Now I do say "pretty much", there is a little bit here and there, but its so weak that the 5 year old mentioned above could take it into show and tell and have no problems, just make sure its written in Japanese so no one can read what is being said. The art itself is nothing to sneeze at, but its fairly good quality that does its job right and isn't going to make you blind if you stare at it for too long. Overall, good solid art with little fanservice :o
Characters - 9
This is where the manga really shines. The whole cast of characters are all really interesting and are hilarious to boot. You've already got the before mentioned perverted Usami and saint/delinquent Fujimura, but there is also the dim-witted school president who is vying for Fujimuras love that wouldn't be able to live without the help of her sadistic vice-president and lastly the delinquent turned school idol that has a split personality, one being what i call the "Onii-Chan" personality which sometimes reverts into the "I will crush your nuts if you get in the way of my love" personality. Of course, common to alot of harems, all of these girls are best buddies and "support" each other to get the man first. I personally found it good that the main character didn't fall into the common the oblivious type of harem lead. He is very well aware that the 3 girls are in love with him, its just that he doesn't love them back and wishes that they would go away and leave him alone. As the story goes on, they grow on him, but still doesn't love any of them back. In the end, this manga has some amazing characters that are interesting while still being hilarious.
Enjoyment - 9
To be honest, anything that makes me laugh constantly I find enjoyable. So if you like laughing a lot, you too will find this enjoyable. With the chapters being fairly short but comedy packed, the manga makes sure that you will never be bored with whats going on. You will enjoy the characters especially, as they really are an entertaining bunch. While this manga doesn't really have a story as such, the individual arcs are really enjoyable, with each having just enough story to keep you interested in the hilarious comedy.
Overall, this is a hilarious manga that you will read when you want to relax, switch off the brain and have a goo laugh I personally really enjoyed the manga and you will enjoy it too if you like the perverted humour, (come on, I know you secretly do). I recommend to pick up this manga right now to start laughing, you wont regret it.
Any comments to improve my reviews will be greatly appreciated, thanks for reading :).

I'm going to write a very brief review on this manga. Basically, if you have watched/read Boku Wa Tomodachi before and you liked it, then you will like this because all it is just extra stories that weren't featured in the main manga. I loved Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai and so I loved this as it showed me more insight into the characters, as each chapter is pretty much about 1 of the main characters. If you didn't like the original Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai then you won't like this spin-off, as simple as that. If you have never if looked at this
...
series before, DON'T START HERE WITH THIS MANGA AT ALL!!!! Starting with this manga is like starting in the middle of book. Instead I'll recommend you go to the original manga (just called "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai"). Like I've said before, this was an amazing manga because it's almost exactly the same as its amazing parent manga and I throughly recommend this if you have read the main story.

Before I begin, I've want to tell you I've read both the manga and watched the anime. Why I am telling you this? Well because they are completely different, to the point where they are almost a completely different series. While the characters might be the same, the actual stories that happen are completely different. So, what I am trying to say is that if you liked the anime, it doesn't mean you will like this (unless you liked the OVA's, because they were based off the manga and are much more alike.). But thats not to say this isn't it a very good manga
...
in its own right, actually its quite the opposite.
Story- 7
A story? When you first read this manga, it has no beginning at all. No character introductions, no why is this person here or how they got here. Nothing. It starts off like you just opened a random page in the middle of the series. Its like its expecting you to have already watched the anime/read the novels to know who's who. It just starts off with a random arc's. Eventually, they get to telling background stories and such, but a nice introduction at the beginning would have been nice and would have saved a lot of confusion, especially for new-comers to the series. The rest of the story is quite good, with the fights scenes being interesting, and have some real dramatic moments, and it great to see the relationships between the characters at these moments. The 'filler' chapters between the arc's are also quite good, providing much needed comedic relief.
Art-8
The art is really quite nice, nothing spectacular, but still nice. However, if you have watched the anime (excluding the OVA's of course), the art style here is completely different and you will take you a while to get use to which character is which.
Character-8
Ah, Murasaki the female protagonist, a 7 year old girl who is very smart and mature for her age but is equally stubborn and innocent. She is really what makes this manga so good. She is easily the most mature at of all the group of high school kids in the group and is usually the voice of reason. Its just so entertaining to watching the kids more then double her age get shown up by her maturity. Despite this, combined with her innocence can create some comedic moments. The male lead and main protagonist Shinkurō, can be a bit of a whiny bitch, but overall is manageable, and his kickarse "demon horn" can lead to some good fight scenes. All the other secondary characters are quite good actually, each being unique and mysterious (all are mysterious, trust me), and all bring something to the plate.
Enjoyment-9
I enjoyed this manga quite alot, actually I enjoyed it VERY much. It might not be a masterpiece, but put all the different aspects together and it was a engrossing and interesting experience yet I don't know why... Maybe its the harem that Shinkurō manages to get. Just joking :)
Overall, this was a very enjoyable manga series that, while isn't anything amazing, still has its perks that were very good. I would recommend reading the manga, though it would help to watch the anime before as I believe as it gives you a bit more background (even though its a completely different story and won't give away any spoilers). One last note, DON'T COME HERE EXPECTING THIS MANGA TO SATISFY YOUR LOLICON FETISH (not that I have one). Despite popular belief, this is not a fanservice anime, so don't worry if you can't stand this stuff. Though there maybe very, very little nude scenes, they are part of the story, and other then that there is no more fanservice. In the end, its a good manga.

A guy who can't get a girlfriend literally begins a relationship with his right hand after it comes to life with a girl obsessed with him. With such a hilarious concept, you at least know the comedy should be good. However in terms of execution, it could of gone both way as with such a quirky idea, it also has a lot potential. It could have been a complete disaster or it could have been amazing. Luckily, it was amazing, which made it all that funnier.
Story-10
While the actual story was largely episodic, each individual episode was just too hilarious. The adventures of the main character with
...
a girl as his hand were very thought out and created some extremely funny moments. The overall story is fairly generic and fairly non-existent (pretty much guy wants to get rid of the girl, girl wants to stay with him forever), however this is actually good thing as it compliments the comedy. You won't have to think to much in this anime.
Art-8
Not much to say about this. The animation is fluid and the art does its job. Overall, it looks quite good, but nothing amazing...
Sound-8
The sound is fairly good as well. The voice acting is solid and all the characters sounded right. The opening was fairly average i thought, it did its job but I wouldn't want to listen to it over and over. The ending I though was great and catchy, and it made me watch the end credits. On a side note, the English Dub is amazing, the voice acting for that was superb, its probably one of the best dubs I've seen. I would actually recommend the dub over the subtitles
Character-9
Haha, a Tsundere male protagonist, who woulda thought. Actually, I love the mis-understood delinquent male lead Seiji, he is too hilarious, especially when hes hating on Midori. Midori, the female protagonist, is pretty the total opposite to seiji, a rich polite girl, and this also increases the comedic moments. So overall, I really like the leads. The side characters were quite good as well, however i feel like there wasn't much development of them, as most characters only appear in 1 or 2 episodes. I guess thats the problem going for only going for 12 episodes.
Enjoyment-10
This show was absolutely hilarious and so I enjoyed it immensely. I laughed the entire time and wished the show went longer. While it wouldn't call the most interesting plot, the comedy alone keeps you interested throughout the whole series, and you will enjoy every step of the way. Did I mention this was hilarious?
Overall, this series was hilarious. If you just want to sit down, switch the brain off and just have a good laugh, this is a must-watch. If your looking for an extremely complex story and twist and turns at every episode, then still watch this anyway because you won't care about this when you watch the first episode. However I've got to warn, surprisingly there is a bit of nudity(?) in this, but you shouldn't let that turn you away even if your not into that thing, as it doesn't ruin the show. In the end you will come for the comedy and you will be served a truck load of it. This was an amazing series.
