You see a 7 and I'm not recommending it and you might think I'm crazy. I might as well be after reading the last few chapters.

This review will be all over the place and I don't care.


I liked Arisu, the main character, but he had too much character development. Like in one chapter he will say I will do that and you will be like ok ok let's go... And in the next chapter he will be like oh no that was bad of me to want to do and you will be like WTF. That ×10 times, it kind of ruins the character ... and his development. I liked Kuina and other things about the manga but I'm not here for that.

An awful ending that stupid people (yeah u) think it's genius but if you think about it even for a second it's another, it was all a dream shit. The Manga is only good in the start, till the hotel, after that it just keep getting worse. Life's meaning is for sure not to take this as serious as its want you to take it.

Why the ending IS so bad? So, Mira gives many extravagant reasons to the most asked question in this manga, what is Borderland. And I must say this was very smart and at the same time a homicide of the real reason (and eventually the ending of the manga) by its own creator. It build up so many creative answers (which in my opinion weren't good but would for sure be better than what we got) and in the end you get a in the last minute answer like the writer's editor was pressuring him to end it (I'm not saying that the ending was rushed, only that the ending its self was bad and not deserving).

Now, I know I said that from the end of the hotel and later it gets bad but that's only because I'm a picky eater (I mostly mean it gets stupid). I hated almost all the games with Chishiya and especially the last one. I might sound angry in this review but I'm more disappointed because I had so high expectations about this manga that I bought it physically, with real money (I usually read online and only buy the ones I would really love, like Dorohedoro and Fire Punch. Because Manga are very expensive). Right after that game I put them for sale online.

And why I hated that so much, I will give only one of the many reasons I have. For a manga that the most important thing and the message that it's trying to put out is that life is important, because how else do you find the meaning of life if not by living, makes a character, that has been the reason many others have died, commit suicide for Chishiya (a piece of shit in my opinion). Does the writer think we are stupid, like I don't know what suicide is and it's that easy. He killed two others in the same game few minutes ago and Chishiya killed another one (here also was the stupidest thing I have ever read in this manga) right before and you tell me that he just killed himself to save this piece of shit.

Stupidity LEVEL 100
So, this wannabe Light Yagami explains how he guests the EXACT number this woman picked from 1 to 100 (and to win this round she knew she had to pick any random number from 2 to 100) and it's just so stupid because as a normal human being she would pick a number that has meaning to her life, like her birth day or a special date to her. This bothers me maybe too much but to remind you the bootleg Light Yagami explains in like the most I can see into your mind before you even think it kind of way. Just very bad writing. Go and read that chapter, with this in mind. (Side Story 6 King of Diamonds, Part 3)


Note that I might be a contrarian and as I said a picky eater BUT the ending is trash and nothing more. Also this manga feels so pretentious. Trying to teach you the meaning of life with that kind of an ending, that's a joke. Anyway you might like it, I didn't (all the way) but you might do.

I know no one will read this review as it's very badly written. Only I can understand it. But I'm writing it for myself anyway. Bye I will go read Liar Game which seems way better than this.

My first review and it shows, sorry but read it please!!! Sadly I usually watch the anime and then read the manga. But I feel so lucky to be able to read this manga first and wait for the anime.
This was truly an emotional rollercoaster mostly downwards but it was worth every tear.

Ok to be honest I knew from the start that there was something going on with Makima. She acted from the beginning strange and she became my favorite from the start. Her plan is so well thought out that even if I'm with Denji's side I'm also with Makima's.

To me she is first an amazing villain/antihero and then attractive. So when the fans call her a bitch I just think that there's so many other anime villains/antiheroes who are male and have done worst and they haven't received that kind of hate. Maybe it's not because of her gender, maybe it's because of the simps she has, idk.

It actually saddens me when such a well written character gets so much hate or gets simps. She is more than a hot bitch and I beg you to understand that.

Now let's talk about Denji. To me it's extremely funny that twitter tried to cancel him because this poor boy just wants to touch some boobes. He is a very good written character as well actually I must say that all the characters, main or not, in Chainsaw man are good written. He is an amazing character and an even better protagonist. He wants something so simple like a hug or friends and it's so sad to see where he started and where he ended. I also like that he is not heroic. All the other shonen protagonists want to become the best and the most powerful. He just wants to have his first kiss and a hug and I respect that.

The only ''bad'' thing I have to say is that it has a bit too much gore for my taste but it didn't bother me too much.


This is not a normal shonen manga, it's special and you should read it.

I want to give this manga a 10 or a 9 so much because is all I've been wanting from a manga comedy like this but I can't. It has so much talking (text actually) and it's mostly pointless. It looks like they took the light novel and copy pasted on some very good manga panels. Also I wanted more of the main female protagonist. Rachel is such a good character and we saw her so little.

Though i did enjoy it and it is pretty funny. I just wanted less words and more Rachel. Read it, it's only 3 chapters you have nothing to ... lose.
