I never thought that I would be writing a review for an anime but Mushoku Tensei is such a masterpiece that I could not overlook it. Mushoku Tensei is a masterpiece. A lot of people are pointing out the animation quality decrease from season 1 to season 2 but I think the animation is still really great.
I have never been so emotionally invested in an isekai until Mushoku Tensei. From Rudeus having ED and trying to kill himself in the early episodes to finally getting over his emotional damage from Eris.

mc is given op abilities or just straight up has everything handed to him. Most shows zoom by character development arcs but Mushoku Tensei handles this perfectly. I have never been more entertained by a slowly paced character development arc in my life but Mushoku Tensei is just that good. Never did I think that I would be cheering so hard for someone trying to get over their ED. The ED arc is a masterpiece. I didn’t think anything could top season 1 but season 2 did that for me.
Most of the time, isekais are generally bad. But when you can compare an isekai to another genre of anime then that is how you know you have a masterpiece.
