I quite liked the start of this Manhwa, but it got very unoriginal and boring very quickly further on and I don't really understand the overall rating this Manhwa has..

For an Isekai, it doesn't really refer back to the real world much besides perhaps 1 or 2 flashbacks that last about 1 panel and his job. The only thing that really sticks around is the fact that the world he is in was a Manhwa he himself read. This doesn't bother me too much since it's basically the norm with Isekai stories to have basically no ties to their past life.

As I mentioned, it gets ... very unoriginal as time goes on. I mean from the begining he has a "game menu" with skills and levels so that's already extremely overused in Korean Manhwa but whatever I can deal with that. What annoys me is that he's meant to be some average guy and isn't even the protag of the Manhwa he read.. however he very quickly becomes more powerful than the actual protag of the story world. The story also devolves into focusing more on fighting monsters etc than what the title would suggest the story is about.

Great example of using their whole budget on the intro and outro. The intro is actually really cool, very artistic as well. The outro is good too but the rest of the Anime doesn't live up to that at all. The Animation and art takes a massive nose dive past the intro.

The general story is alright. Not really that original though. I remember reading a manhwa with practically the same premise a couple of years ago. It is kind of funny how much of an ass the protag is though.

I mean, I finished the Anime so it's not bad. It's just kind of average and ... I really wish it looked a bit better.

TLDR: It's boring and the animation is the worst I've ever seen. The 3 characters on the art are the only interesting thing in this anime and they're gone a couple episodes in.

The only good and interesting thing about this anime are the 3 that raise the main character. Outside of that, it's extremely bland and boring.

When the main character has to leave his home and venture out I got pretty annoyed because it's basically just a couple episodes of crying. There's not much of an attachment to the main character because there really isn't anything to get attached too so you just sit there ... awkwardly when he's balling his eyes out.. then they introduce the supporting character and you are there sitting awkwardly again when that character has a crying session too.

There's just nothing meaningful happening and it's made even worse by the terrible and lazy animation. It's to the point where there are repeating frames.. at least I think they're accidental repeating frames? There's a part where the main character unsheathes a sword then sheathes it again.. but then those frames are copy and pasted 2 more times?
The worst of the lazy animation is where one of the supporting characters is singing and playing an instrument but they just don't even bother animating their arm moving at all to play the instrument.
There's also times where someone will nod or move their head and it kinda just folds in on their neck. It's all very awkward.

Nearly forgot to mention.. This is an isekai somehow. The only thing that makes it an isekai is that the main character said he has memories of his past life which was like an office worker or something. Nothing really beyond that. That's basically like false advertising for people into isekais.

Do without the classmates and it would have been a lot better honestly. Everything involving the classmates was incredibly boring and a copy paste of every other crap fantasy anime. Full of clichés and generic crap.

The episodes revolving around the main character were a lot better but at the same time, those episodes are filled with crap 3D work. It's bad but it's not so bad that it's not watchable at least..

I could have made it through this anime if it were just the main characters story and the cheap 3D but I can't with the cheap 3D AND the shit classmate story.

One of the few Chinese anime's that I actually seem to like. Not the best art, definitely not the best sound (There are a lot of times where the sound changes in volume or sound effects just cut out/end suddenly when realistically they shouldnt), the sound is honestly pretty poor but the theme and story makes up for these shortcomings.

Sadly though, it ends on a big cliffhanger and I doubt they will ever pick it up again.
A quick google search found me a translated manga but even that isn't finished and the last upload was on 01/03/2021 and even then it's only enough content for ... 1 episode, maybe less. The website the translators had listed doesn't exist either.

From my understanding after a quick google, there's about 700 chapters and no one has translated past chapter 187. (chapter 180 is where the anime ended).

Dragon Quest 5 is my absolute favorite DQ game and this movie is about that game. This movie had me constantly going "omg I remember this part in the game!" and being the fan I am of DQ5 I already knew what was going to happen next.

This is honestly a great movie adaptation of the 5th game in the series. The CGI is also done very well, which is good to see.

I loved the whole movie besides the ending though. I felt as though the ending honestly wasn't necessary and they could have just kept it as a movie on the game rather than it ... all just being a VR deep dive thing.

Randomly came across this on some random anime site while it was just starting to air and thought "art looks nice, I'll add it to my watch list" and thought nothing else of it. Tbh I didn't even read what it was about.
Today I was looking for something to watch and saw that this had finished airing. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this Anime. It's honestly amazing. Best Anime I've watched in awhile.

Tbh if the whole anime were like the first half I'd have been fine with it. Those episodes had me tearing up heaps. They were so good. The second half of the ... Anime wasn't really expected but damn they did it so well.
I can't wait for the second season!

Forget that the anime sounds like it would be about a group of heroes fighting a Demon Lord, cause that never actually happens. Basically there's an impostor and it takes them 12 episodes to figure out who it is, while every character in the anime is "3rd impostoring" the entire show.
I hate this comparison as well but it's the shortest and most accurate thing I could think of.
It was an OK anime as a whole but if you're looking for a Mystery anime then this is definitely not one I'd recommend. Though that's not why I watched this, I watched this because it was recommended ... to Shield Hero viewers.. Probably the worst recommendation in history but ok.

It takes them the whole anime to find that impostor but then during the last 5mins or so they introduce another character which basically says there's still another impostor among them but they decide to say fuck it and go off to fight the Demon Lord anyway. The End.

Creator has a thing for people pissing themselves or something. 2 eps in a row the protag pisses himself.
How do you make it a plot point that the protag use to be a runner but stopped because he tripped during a race and that made him piss themselves. Who the hell pisses themselves just from tripping over lmao.

Besides that crap, this whole anime is kind of shit tbh. I couldn't find anything appealing about it and stopped watching at ep 4. Even the whole RPG part of the anime is weak, it's like they don't even know what games are.

Probably the worst anime I have ever seen.
Oh, whos this person? Oh, another new person? Oh and another?
Basically they introduce new characters one after the other to make an awkward interaction between the main characters, making each other believe that they've got a thing going on with this newly introduced character when in fact it's all misunderstandings and just overall dumb stuff.
It honestly started becoming annoying to watch this and highly obvious what was going to happen next since the exact same thing had happened the episode before and the one before that, just with other side characters.
