Before I start, my English is not very good, I apologize if there are any grammatical errors
Rail Romanesque is the animated adaptation of the visual novel Maitetsu, which is an H novel, therefore they had to change some things so that this could be broadcast on television, but I think many things changed ...
To begin with, the novel, according to what I read, happens after the successes of the game, so I know this is a "sequel" so to speak, however, I feel that this, as a sequel has nothing ...
Story: The story follows Suzurhiro and the other railroads in order to increase their marketing
...
in their respective areas, so they hold a meeting to come up with ideas.
The idea is not bad at all, but since the runtime did not help them to explore this, but the story is decent, it is not to get involved so much, but it is enjoyable, 7/10
Animation: Well, the animation runs through the Saetta studio, in itself, it is enjoyable, it is not that saturated, or that low, therefore I give it a 7.3 / 10.
Sound: The voice actresses like the characters, they are relaxing and fun, we do not have an opening theme (opening), but we do have closing themes (ending), personally, I liked the ending 3. 6/ 10
Characters: ok, the characters are cute, the design is beautiful I must admit, they are trains / locomotives turned into cute girls, so I found it somewhat curious, besides that each one presents a different region; They show us, in each episode, some curiosities of their respective regions, not so superficially, but rather quickly.
It may be a problem to understand the regions as we are not Japanese so you can forget something quickly.
I give it 6.9 / 10 on characters.
Rail Romanesque, for me, was an anime to pass the time, the story was not very complex, but I would have liked them to make some reference to the original novel, or to have explained a little about the locomotives (their strongest point), but I think due to the running time of each episode (3 and a half minutes) it couldn't be done.
The series will have 2nd season (something that surprises me, since it had not finished and 2nd season is already announced), so, perhaps, they can put us a somewhat more extensive story, or perhaps related to the original novel, there will only be what to expect.
Final score: 7/10, I do not have much to say, the series did not appeal to me, but it served to pass the time, besides seeing waifus trains, so I will not say anything else.
