Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon is an anime that doesn't seem to take itself too seriously with its premise and yet it tries to throw in some serious obstacles that our MC should be able to easily overcome but couldn't without going through some roundabout way for some poorly explained reason.

Our MC Noir Starga has a skill that's basically a universal wikipedia that can tell him the answers and solution to pretty much anything and everything (he gets a terrible headache whenever he uses it but this drawback is made irrelevant soon enough) and later he gets some skills that allows him to create, edit, ... remove and grant someone any skill and condition he so desires which essentially turns him into a literal god. He could make himself and others immortal, enhance their skills to become OP or even create a skill that allows him to alter the world and other people as he sees fit. The catch is that using this godlike ability costs LP (Life Points) which our MC can earn from indulging in his desires like eating delicious food or doing erotic things but this isn't really much of a limitation when he already has someone more than willing to do these erotic things with from the very beginning.

The cost of LP and the rate at which our MC earns them is also inconsistent, simply kissing a girl he likes or falling face first into her boobs one time earns him a pretty good amount of LP and yet our MC acts as though the LP cost to easily resolve certain obstacles thrown his way (some of which is even life or death) is too much and instead has to go through some roundabout way to resolve it. At one point our MC even went to ask someone for information when he literally has the ability to know anything and everything just as an example of what I mean when I say the MC goes through roundabout ways to resolve problems he should be able to easily resolve but I guess at that point we won't have much of a story.

It doesn't help that the characters aren't that interesting, lacking almost any sort of depth other than to become cute waifus for our MC's growing harem and the comedy is pretty bland for the most part.

TL;DR Ore dake Haireru Kakushi Dungeon tries not to take itself too seriously with its light hearted premise and writing and yet it also tries to throw in some serious obstacles and drama, ultimately failing at all of them.
