Congratulations G-reco, you are no longer the worst gundam series of all time.
G-Witch is an awful show, so much I don't think it deserves the name Gundam and should be pushed lower than kyoukai senki. This is because this is no longer a gundam show
It is tragic how such a legendary franchise has stooped to such lows to appeal to an audience that is largely against the anime industry as a whole. Seriously, a gundam show that covers same sex marriage in some kind of tournament. The only people who will enjoy this show are the activists who have brigaded the medium to attack anime

and its fandoms. Sure we have disappointments like Trailblazer and ibo season 2 or straight up flops like victory, age, g reco. But bringing fandoms like yuri or anti-fanservice in it is going to destroy the gundam fandom as a whole. This show must be rejected.
Suletta is a badly written character. How are we supposed to believe that a stumbling woman of colour that isn't even aware of her sexuality is able to efficiently pilot a gundam with funnels/dragoons. If you remember the Nu Gundam and strike freedom, funnels are supposed to be the peak of newtypes or cooridinators. Yet this girl can use the most powerful weapon without any proper explanation for the character or universe.. Textbook mary sue. At least amuro and kira struggled at the beginning. The design is meant to be unappealing as a short woman of colour without any womanly features. But not making us like her or sympathize with her and relying on a stereotypical appearance of a minority is textbook bad writing. Is this girl supposed to be the best pilot, or one who is struggling to speak.
The setting has no idea what it wants to be. Is it a school setting or some UC knock off? Why are spacenoids protesting without a conflict that connects to school setting. This is unable to set up a proper war epic or story.
There is no proper romance in the story at all, and just a shipper bait. Compare any romance here to amuro and sayla, arthrun and cagalli, kira/lacus/flay and you will realize there is no romance at all.
The char clone lacks the menace that Char and Rau did. She will easily be forgotten.
The mechs are painfully uninspired and look like some g reco/0080 knock off.
This show is dead to me. Ultimately this shouldn't be a gundam show because it lacks any of the seriousness and drama previous ones did. I could forgive this show if they didn't intentially tried to have used as a tool for the people that are trying to attack anime fans by bashing any with fanservice or male characters. But unfortunately it looks like this show is made to antagonize the male characters ultimately alienating the core fanbase.
Muv Luv alternative is by far the superior mecha show this season. Watch that show. This is not the mecha or gundam show you are looking for.
