This is my first review of a manga so I'll do my best to properly assess the story. I will try not to spoil any major parts and plot points but I still need to give some criticism on certain parts of the story, so expect some minor spoilers.
Story and Premise: It is an Isekai story so the premise of the story is not that unique. Even though this is tagged as a generic Isekai it still tries to give something. I like the decision to make the mc train hard rather than giving him the cheats directly. I am just disappointed on how
...
they handle the explanation on how he die (I don't know if this rushed or not but it's still sloppy). So the mc trained for 500 years to become the most powerful swordsman. After years of training under his master he did became a strong swordsman. One day, the mc and his master encountered a woman being eaten by wolves. The woman was protecting a baby. His master advice him to raise the baby in the city.
The whole story is pretty much generic compared to other isekai but it tried to put something unique. The story could have been a little bit better if they give more moments for the mc and the child that could give readers more attachment to the child.
Characters: I would not spoil any characters but I would like to comment on the mc. The mc is boring (this is self-aware however) so if you are expecting some exciting and chad-like energy, I regret to inform you that this is not the case for the mc of the manga. He is cool at some panels but overall he is pretty underwhelming. The other character are pretty decent and they blend things well.
Art: The art is very generic. The art style can be compared to other generic isekai mangas. I do like some panels especially the time where the mc decapitated some assassins, that is dope atleast.
Overall: If you like generic isekai, then by all means read this manga. This could have been better if they gave more moments to the mc and the child's father and daughter duo. This is pretty entertaining enough if your just bored. Overall: 5/10
