Whether you're a fan of made in abyss or tower god you can unanimously agree that Kevin Penkin (the composer for both these series) has done and will do a finominal job when it comes down to the soundtrack. Both series have tracks you can loop for hours and still there is something that still makes you hold on. But anyway onto the main comparison. Both series take place in an extremely large world. Whether you're venturing up a tower filled with mysteries and obstacles or diving into the depths of the abyss not knowing what you can find. The world building in both these series are amazing.

First, let's get out the way that both animes are made by Studio Wit. Both shows have Hiroyuki Sawano behind the music, so if you liked the music from either one of them you'll definitely like the other. Both animes are post-apocalyptic, the titans and kabane look quite similar in terms of shading. The action in both shows is insane. The main characters of both shows have some sort of ability putting them at an advantage against their enemy.

Both shows are similar as they both take place in school environments and both main characters have put aside their tasks to help someone else who is suffering and is in need- In bunny girl the help needed is more serious. Both shows also have romance- more so with bunny girl senpai- and there is such a huge similarity between Mai and Yukino in terms of how they look, so if you watched any of these shows for how the character of either Mai or Yukino looked, I recommend the watching either one of them. Good light anime to watch.

Both animes consist of having more than one female character who has an interest in the main character and have significant flashbacks and things to do with the past. The main character also has his own multiple love interests.

Both male main characters at the beginning of the film are socially detached from the world until they meet the main female character- both with a health problem. Both films revolve about friend ship and the meaning of living.
