I have to say this show was surprisingly insanely funny, insanely wholesome, and in general just simply insane. Lots of anime references made it hilarious quite a resemblance to Hinamatsuri a bit. Quite the focus on side characters actually building up their stories and personalities. The main aspect is really the comedy and references that get me, from other animes, to real life, to how comically real the characters respond. Lots of references to modern day jokes too since this is a reverse isekai.
It's so wholesome too with their dynamics basically a father and daughter kind, and the only person that gets fanserviced is
...
the absolutely down bad homeless knight girl. It's random and at times episodic, but actually seems to progress towards something though not intense there still is progression. The OP is quite unique with its blend of real world background and anime characters.
Overall, watch this if you need a good wholesome comedy with funny modern day references.

8.5-, Wasn't just a moe anime.
This anime was quite a mix of things. I was expecting a more moe happy cgdct anime, but right off the bat you get this sad to depressing backstory of Sarasa, which while it fortunately turns around for her and things are great. It continue when as other reviews have mentioned there is a bit of a tonal shift episodes later and continues to happen throughout the anime periodically. You get an interesting mix of things like Slice of Life and Action, Moe and gore/blood, Happy Village and Brutal Capitalist, and way more with a good part revolving around economics
...
of goods and services. Still it keeps it mostly lighthearted often moving past those feelings to focus on more about the ingredients for alchemy which give it a good introduction to the fantasy elements in this world. Along with having an upbeat village full of happy characters steers you away from realizing initially how kind of shady and a bit bleak this world is.
The main part that I see is this anime is it feels more towards adult/dark humor undertones and wouldn't be good if you were looking for only a more lighthearted and moe anime. Sometime Sarasa will say some random comment and it is just unexpectedly more of an adult take that it catches me off guard, sometimes I find those comments pretty funny too. With the discussions of money to jokes to the messages it tries to convey, it feels a bit different than a standard moe blob of a show. It does lack in having a good story flow would be my biggest gripe which to be fair it's a slice of life, so I wasn't expecting much in that regards. But the moments it does have some sort of story it was entertaining it just didn't flow very well in concluding them as there's some loose strings with questions unanswered. The OP was also great has an upbeat energetic vibe to it.
Overall, it was fun to watch and I would say actually slightly improves each episode. The few times of action it had was surprisingly good especially the last episodes. In general the art and animation were pretty good backgrounds, characters, and the magic were animated well. Better than I was expecting from ENGI which has had a mix record as a studio. The world is interesting being it's fun to see how the economy and ingredients from monsters for this fantasy world work. I would say this for most people would be a solid average or slightly above anime being it just is such a mix of things, but it does them decently to well. Following the three episode rule would be a good inclination of what the anime has to offer initially, as I do believe it gets slightly better as it progresses once everything has set a foundation.

10/10
I will start off by saying, I likely have some bias having a little background in pharmaceuticals. Regardless, the anime as others have mentioned actually does well in being something entertaining and interesting where the first few episodes you get a vibe resembling Myne from Ascendance of a Bookworm. In it there is a grand aspect of comparing ones life before reincarnation going into a magic fantasy world where everything is new with problems that you have to solve using previous knowledge. It should be noted that the show does have a pretty big difference where it will start to feel different in which specifically,
...
Farma is born to be the son of an Archduke with both wealth and prestige. Which if you know Myne is not and so the vibe of the show hits a bit different, but still delivers in having an interesting story with actually smart characters working towards a goal too. Another reason why the anime may feel it has a resemblance is how the characters interact with the MC it feels more real in tune of them being actually human.
For this anime it surprisingly goes in-depth of the chemical compounds needed to make the medicines along with the diagnoses of certain ailments showing that the author either has a good deal of knowledge on the subject or that they at least have done their research. It is done in a more anime fantasy style, so don't worry about it being too boringly dialogue scientific if that's not what you're looking for.
Some would say this anime is very much a fantasy in the characters because they're more smarter and willing to take action in comparison to other shows where everyone besides the MC is braindead. But I would say because of that we get to experience more instead of being stuck in mindless melodrama between characters as that is not the focus of this show.
It is the willingness this anime goes about focusing on exploring aspects of medicine and ailments that make this anime fun to watch. Covering multiple subjects and topic that fit the animes premise very well while still showing that it is a fantasy world that has its own differences though you could say it resembles a classical medieval era like most fantasy do.
The characters are great and interesting to see as they are actually competent in a crisis it helps make the world more fun to explore. Farma's reason to push forward from his pretty sad background story helps make it feel more alive where it does not stray from that premise as other animes might do. There is some character development in a few of the characters mainly the ones closest to the Farma, but since most are pretty capable already they don't have as much to grow rather the world is changing instead.
Art wise it is pretty colorful and good overall. The few times there was action it was done well and a lot of scenery is detailed pretty well too. Characters have unique designs so you can tell them apart pretty easily. Both the OP and EP were good. OP doesn't spoil much and visually is interesting to see with a nice tune. The ED fits pretty well with the vibe of the animes endings giving it a nice contrast.
Overall, if you want an anime that is more true fantasy with a focus on medicine that has interesting characters rather than having harems or romance or the MC goes to school and the strongest bully fights the MC, but surprise the MC is actually strong which this anime has none of those. This anime is definitely something to watch then. It's easy enough to follow keeping it entertaining while I would say the best parts of this anime are the characters being capable to change as the MC does world altering things. A bit on the more lighthearted side considering everything, but it does have an entertaining story as it goes on with some tension. Decent world building with large number of characters, a bit of politics, few twists that keep you guessing, and a goal you hope to see achieved.

8.5/10
This is ultimate a pretty fluffy wholesome romcom. The first few episodes I would say make the show feel like it will be something more, but it ultimately ends up being a pretty chill wholesome romance anime. It also fortunately after those first four episodes, cools down on the whole bad luck Brian/Izumi and cool girl Shikimori schtick which it did way too much. The whole gender reversal roles got a bit tiring how much they did it to showcase how macho cool Shikimori was and feminine Izumi was. Afterwards it actually becomes a more fun and endearing show about their romance and the characters
...
while being decently funny at times.
It was great seeing a romance where the couple is already together not many animes do that. I would say it reminds me heavily of Tonikaku Kawaii getting to watch the couple as they go about their life and those arounds them. Art and animation were pretty good as expected from Doga Kobo, there are tons of settings and places they go to or explore that it feels like a vibrant world.
Also the side characters get a good amount of character development which made it more interesting and memorable to watch them when they were around. Kamiya's was easily the highlight of the show giving it more impact and emotion, while Hachimitsu was just an overall fun character to watch with her antics. Along with the rest of the characters they were all unique and memorable to see with their own quirky funny personalities. Truly, they helped make the show better since it wasn't just about the main couple.
Liked both the OP and ED, with the ED being pretty cool animation wise to the tune of the song.
Overall, if you're looking for a lighthearted romance comedy this is a great show to watch for that being rather chill, but having some more meaning to it. I liked how the show tied everything up towards the end it felt pretty good. Along with how they came to be together and what they do that makes them really good for each other. It's not a show for everyone and more so if you don't like these kinds of wholesome romance animes or have wildly weird expectation for them, but if you're looking for something that's a comfy fluffy romcom then I would recommend this.

7.5/10
This anime does what a lot of other do, mainly it starts off really well in the first three episodes. It was funny, interesting, very direct, felt rather fresh and like it would do something different. However, once it got past those episodes the show felt like it progressed then regressed the characters development and it became rather normal as most animes.
The most critical part I have is the jokes became pretty repetitive it was essentially, deadpan character makes very direct flirty comment to other character, the other character blushes or feels embarrassed. That was the essence of comedy for most of the show.
...
Romance wise it is decent through lots of moments of the couples together, but follows the tiring trope of will they/won't they which is not surprising considering the anime's title.
Side character romance was a nice addition with Sakurako and Takeru that helped fill the gap in wanting more romance in the show. The rest of the side characters through were rather unmemorable and sometime felt like they were taking time away from the more important couples moments.
OP and ED are very catchy. Loved the little dance sequence in the OP and overall Urushi VA, Kanna Nakamura, sings really well. It is an interesting note that this is her first VA debut role and that it is a main character is impressive, she did great throughout the anime I will say.
Overall, I would still recommend the show it is a decent romance if you like characters teasing/flirting a lot with embarrassed reactions with okay comedy that can be a bit repetitive. At times the show will subvert expectations for tropes and cliches, but it did it so many times it became predictable while trying to be unpredictable. Rather lighthearted that feels like a slice of life romcom which ended up becoming a rather normal chill anime to watch since there weren't too many scenes that were uniquely memorable.

7.0- - Below average in a certain big aspect
For an anime that has specifically an Action and Fantasy tag, the worst part I found while watching this show was the action.
Reason being after a few episodes it will be apparent that a large majority of the attacks aren't shown to connect. Instead you get some action slide show where the character does some attack swing, but then the camera scene swaps to the bad guys flying backwards as if they got hit. You barely see any actual continuous action instead it's just showing you the aftermath of the attack. A common camera trick even
...
in anime i'm sure to save money on the budget, but for an anime that has such a heavy focus on action it got annoying seeing it happen so many times.
Besides that the rest is okay and average. The actual main story is somewhat interesting with the political royal scheming, but the MC instead is doing some side quests which deal in a slavery arch which aren't too bad if it was short. However, the slavery stuff has continued so long as the main story it really isn't interesting or new.
Characters are rather simple not very memorable in my opinion, but thanks to there being so many it does make the world feel pretty alive.
I will say this show is strong in adventuring as it builds up the world where the MC's travel to many places and meet a number of people it really feels like a wide vast place, but because of that lacks depth. There's a number of characters and they aren't given much of the spotlight to shine to really care about them which even includes the main characters a bit.
I'm sure you already have heard or read about the controversies with this show, so I won't mention it much. Just know it happens more times than literally just at the beginning too, so if it's something that bothers you I wouldn't recommend continuing.
The OP and ED are good.
Ultimately, I would recommend this anime for a person that is looking to watch something where they want to see the hero/knight save a bunch of women basically tons of damsel-in-distress situations. Along with the MC being basically OP broken which leads to I want to say a low tension show. And a good amount of adventuring the world to new cities and places in which they meet many other new characters.

8.0 - Decently Good
I will first off say that the 1st episode is kind of bad, because of how much it heavily focuses on the comedy surrounding the illusion of men in this village full of only girls. It would be highly recommended to follow the 3 episode rule for this show to get a better vibe of what to expect as the following episodes give a much better representation to what kind of show this will be going forward. Be rest assured it moves on from that and goes on to introduce new characters while finding new comedic points, though the man illusion references
...
do come back from time to time.
It is essentially a ton of cute girls as ninjas in a rural school doing ninja jujutsu things or CGDCNT(Cute Girls Doing Cute Ninja Things). Rather wholesome too in comparison to what people expected based on the visual art.
On that note, each episode is pretty episodic with it actually splitting even further with each episode there are two stories in them. Most of the episodes will introduce a new team with there being 12 teams in total with about 3-4 members in each of the teams. Interestingly enough the ED changes and is sung by whichever new team is introduced. You could almost say this feel like a show rivaling idol shows with the very large cast and new team ED songs, but instead they're ninja's, very cute ninja's.
You will probably first off notice their massive foreheads and that's because the author also produced the well known show of Teasing Master Takagi-san which has it's iconic forehead design in it.
It is a really chill show to watch just to see them do ninja stuff with good art and animations as expected from CloverWorks. The cast and their antics are fun while they are unique enough in their own way they don't blend into each other including their designs are pretty different. Not really too much depth in either the characters or story, so if you're looking for something more relaxed and fun this will likely work for you. Best part of this show really is seeing the large cast interact and go do things as ninja's from Slice of Life activities, doing small missions, to interacting with other teams sometimes even fighting challenges, or simply hanging out together thanks to them this world even though we are shown very little feels pretty lively.

7.0 - Misleadingly Average
Starts off feeling it will be different, but it is pretty average and cliche as it progresses. Similar to many other animes when they try to mix in comedy, drama, and action while attempting to have an actual story. It is overall very rushed with 5 volumes adapted into this 12 episode season.
Which might be your taste if you are looking for something that continues to have something going on, but for me it made the adaption worse. The anime will attempt to make you feel sad, but then immediately makes you toss away those feelings for cheap jokes or a
...
very fast resolution for each arch. Antagonist villains are cliche and easy to see while their motives are pretty simple.
The characters while seemed hopeful end up not having much depth because this anime is going at lightspeed pace. That's not to say they weren't enjoyable to watch as they go about their antics as it was at times to have this big cast, but really I won't say any of them were very memorable. Even the heroines end up basically being cliche damsels in distress.
Overall, this show simply lacks tension and time to absorb much of anything in depth. It was a rollercoaster of enjoyable at time while also a bit dull. Mainly I would say the build up moments in the beginning of each arch(which is about every 3 episodes) are the highlight being fun interactions and delving into the story. While the actual execution of each closing of the arch often were very much let downs with how fast and cliche they ended. However, if you are looking for a big cast with fun interactions that resolve their issues quickly with a somewhat story going on then this might be for you.
I believe a good example comparison would be Wise Man's Grandchild though this isn't an isekai it has some similarities especially when it comes to the school and magic setting things.

9.5 - Still really great, but doesn't feel the same as previous seasons
Truly an ultra romantic season, as while it is still very funny there seemed to be less of a comedy focus of a season compared to previous ones considering the suspense tag added which none of the other two season had. Instead there is definitely a stronger focus on the romantic side with some comedic parts intertwined of course.
Sometimes repeated jokes and scenarios from previous season which gets a bit old. Though this season ended up connecting certain things from past seasons which is really impressive and shows how well done the writing
...
is that it can reference stuff from all the way back to season 1.
This world is still the greatest and most fun place to be apart of and watch. All the characters are unique, but at times the cast feels like it is getting a bit big that instead of focusing on the story. It tries to showcase multiple views which become a bit distracting. Regardless, I enjoy watching every one of them and seeing their journey and stories as they progress forward.
The ending was amazing and well worth the wait.

8.0+ - Surprisingly good
Really impressive how the anime delivered being both a lighthearted parody comedy and romance while never feeling like it was boring or bad. You would expect with this kind of premise it would be something generic and a bit tedious to get through, but it actually was an entertaining and fun show to watch.
The romance between the two was really cute and interactions with other characters was good, they all felt like they had actual personalities. The action and animations were good too definitely didn't feel like they lacked budget. Helps that both of them are really attractive and hot with
...
great personalities, perfect for each other, especially the male MC he's ripped compared to most romance MC's you see.
OP and ED are catchy.
Overall, it is pretty lighthearted fun, good action animations, and some fanservice for both sides with a cute romance on top.
