Terra Formars (Manga) add
Preliminary (50/? chp)
What a wonderful surprise! Terra Formars is a superb Serie B science fiction manga. Imagine if John Carpenter had been born in Japan, he would have made this gem. This manga is a totally deserved success, even if I find its rating totally underestimated on this site.

It took me too long to try this manga but better late than never. Everything about this title works. From Volume 1, you get a big slap in the face. The themes are all there: action, horror, science fiction, tragedy, drama, gore, war and science.

The manga was on hiatus for years after volume 22, but resumed on 4 ...

Preliminary (25/103 chp)
For me it's simple, I prefer this manga to Vagabond and Vinland Saga. But that's just me.

Firstly, in terms of drawing, it's perfection: Tetsuo Hara is in charge. Then there's an exciting, bad-ass story about the legendary Oda Nobunaga. Oda Nobunaga made a fool of himself at a very young age. But it's all a facade, a deception for the enemy to underestimate him. Once he's grown up and ready for battle, the whole world will discover who he really is.

You can feel that the historical reality is here with, of course, the stylish manga style. Which makes the story more exciting than a simple ...

Preliminary (24/? chp)
After reading 5 volumes (24 chapters), I can say this manga is really good.

First of all don't judge this manga on its first 40 pages. I had been disappointed and I had left it aside. It's by seeing very positive reviews that I gave the manga a chance again. So I read the whole volume 1 (4 chapters) and I loved it.

There are 4 main characters but the real protagonist is Sasae Hatsushima: an anti-hero who presents himself as an ordinary young man unlike his sisters-in-law and his mother-in-law. But in fact it is a facade because he will quickly reveal himself as a Machiavellian ...

Preliminary (9/? chp)
We would like to see more often this kind of isekai.

The main character, Touka, is an anti-hero and is discarded by a goddess who summoned a mass of people. The thing is that Touka after being put on his knees gives the finger to the goddess who rejects and belittles him. Touka finds himself in a kind of death zone where the rejects are rejected. But he will grit his teeth and do everything to survive and take revenge on the Goddess.

Touka is someone who had a difficult childhood, that's why underneath his airs of victims, there is something in him, a kind of rage. ...

Better than the anime adaptation (no surprise here).

In a world where a genocide is carried out on witches, one of them, an adult woman Chloe, has a young human disciple: Adonis whom she has taken in on the street. A love is born between the two despite their age difference. Chloe ends up being savagely killed by humans under Adonis' helpless eyes. The latter swears to take revenge and to massacre his own, that is to say all humans.

This is how this excellent manga begins, well drawn, surprising, violent, brutal, beautiful. After having read seven volumes, I am under the charm of this manga. Do ...

Levius (Manga) add
I don't usually do review because the mangas I love already got great score (Berserk, Akira, Gunnm, Vagabond, Death Note etc...) but Levius is underrated here.

I was introduced to the Levius manga thanks to the anime that I loved. But I was blown away by the manga : it's way different. Still a steampunk universe but way more violent, beautiful and shocking (Volume 3 specially). The art is fantastic, the more you look at it, the more you are impressed. The story is way more than a steampunk boxing manga. I won't say more because I don't want to spoil anything.

Levius has gone straight to ...
