i'll start off by saying that although i've put this at 9/10 overall with various factors considered, i do want to make a point that my enjoyment was definitely 10/10, which i personally think is the most important :D
(i did avoid discussing any specific content, so anything mentioned that hints at spoilers should be quite vague? but warnings just in case)
well, onto the review!
Story: 8/10
i quite enjoyed the pacing of this as a romance. IMO it's slow-burn-ish in the least uncomfortable way—our MCs don't get together right away by any means; however, Sasaki's feelings for Miyano are clear from the get-go and they're clearly reciprocated

as chapters progress!
they do have valid reasons for Not Dating when they're not, and are very emotionally honest they are with each other too! their lack of miscommunication + obliviousness is actually really refreshing to read :')
also, the little details in the story are hilarious.
i think the only common/noteworthy issue here is that the flashback scenes can be displayed somewhat confusingly, so it may take a reread or two to fully understand what's going on at times.
(the nonchronological order does get you feeling closer to the characters, though!)
Art: 9/10
lovely!! definitely a cute & enjoyable style, and the character designs are realistic/plausible yet fun. i love how the mangaka manages to state "look how pretty Miyano's eyes are" without colour.
p.s. i quite like how they draw hands? idk they're just.. expressive
if we were to be picky: the boys are LONG sometimes (legs), but that can easily be overlooked lol

i LOVE them holy shit. (please read & see for yourself <3) (most of the other reviews are absolutely correct)
it's like Sasaki & Miyano are simultaneously both "sunshine" & "sunshine protector".. they're adorable as themselves and definitely with each other. very kind—they're fr so likeable, as are all the supporting characters!
Enjoyment: 10/10
so okay i'm a bit obsessed. this is honestly everything i've ever wanted in a romance—HS slice of life, fluff, the cutest characters + relationships.. it may not be a prize-winning literary masterpiece BUT it's top-notch Comfort fiction material to me ((indulgence + escapism at its finest baby))!
oh plus the story is great with explicit consent + boundaries and !! it's so nice!!
overall just. really really fucking wholesome & lovely. whether you typically like BL-esque content or not i'd really advise giving this a chance! it made me super happy & i'm wishing the same good vibes for you. o7
