Mushoku Tensei the new big isekai currently airing about a Hikkikomori who got hit by a truck and sent to a new world. It might sound as generic as the many copypaste isekai that have been on the market recently but this one is different.

Mushoku Tensei deviates from the crowd by it’s wonderful characters and world building. I remember reading the webnovel back in 2016 and how it got me immersed in the world and really invested in the diverse plethora of characters and with the anime adaption still on going it improved on the source material by a whole lot. All of the ... characters are fleshed out and are given enough screen time to develop Eris for example at first when she's introduced she’s your typical tsundere but as she develops she no longer fits that trope and becomes more of a 3 dimensional character.

Issues with Mushoku Tensei:
With all that said Mushoku Tensei also has it’s problems
Multiple people who watched MT have had this problem and it’s with over sexualization of it’s female characters.

For example when Rudeus’ mother is first introduced the first thing he thinks of is touching her breasts.

Another time when Rudeus has a monologue about tuning Slyph into a perfect woman.

Finally Rudeus gropping and trying to take off Eris’ panties when she’s sleeping.
Yeah I think you get it and this point is reiterated by many people who watch and is ignored by fans who says yes he’s a pedo but he gets better overtime.

Overall I’d say Mushoku Tensei is a good anime for those who are interested in high fantasy and adventure as for a ranking I’d give it a 8/10
