Koisuru Bitch-kun

Mangaka & Editor. Bicchi-kun's character design is cuter and more airheaded, in Love Mission the mangaka is the awkward type who's bad at socializing - both of them are sort of out of it and difficult to read.

Both are about guys who get lost in BL-style fantasies and daydreams.

Mezase Hero!

Cops, Comedy and BL. Both have some amount of (episodic) police work while the romance is fairly slow and not very explicit. The love story gets more "screen time" in "Alcohol, Shirt, and Kiss" and doesn't feel as tacked on as in Mezase Hero (at least in V1 - it felt more natural in V2). While none of them are the greatest love story ever, both manga are sweet and fun to read and have some pretty hilarious moments; especially Mezase Hero got some belly laughs and is overall a great comedy.

Kigeki wa Koi de Shinka Suru

Both are fairly offbeat yaoi with different-than-usual characters and a slightly twisted type of humour, which is pretty hilarious at some points ("Clara" in Kigeki, the overprotective brother in Kizudarake, for example). Both mangaka seem to relish getting dirty and to prefer the body's reality over girls' dreams, so you're more likely to find the occasional pubic hair than decorative dreamy flowers. The focus in both books is more on the exploration of a particular kind of love between two people instead of fulfilling a fluff or smut quota. Kigeki wa Koi's Hane-chan and Kanda in Kizudarake's main story also sport a similar hairstyle (which I admit is not really the point, but I liked it).

Renai Semi

Player-type seme "teaches" super innocent, naive, cute uke; in Darling it's homo-correction training, in Renai it's the ways of love. Ulterior motives come in at some point. Both mangas are very funny and cute, especially if you like idiot couples.
