Like the only other reviewer on this, I stumbled upon this in my local Barnes and Noble Manga section. As a fan of Ringu and Japanese horror in general, I felt obliged to pick it up. If I had to describe it in just a sentence; It is a cute and short manga for fans of the Ring, nothing spectacular, but enjoyable for what it is. I wouldn't recommend getting it if you don't care at all about the Ring, but it can be kind of funny for fans. There isn't much I didn't like about it, maybe that they hinted at some potential developments

One big disclaimer, the elephant in the room: As of me writing this on June 17th, 2021, JoJolion has not ended. Despite that, so long as the ending is not terrible, I don't see my opinion changing much.
JoJolion is awesome! The story that has been building up for 10 years now (wow!), really 30+ years, is really captivating. Many mysteries, characters, plotlines, histories, etc. have all been introduced, many elaborated on, and some still left unclear, which all keeps you wondering what will happen next. If anything, JoJolion is VERY unpredictable. I think that is the best part about it, and really about JoJo in ... |
