Well after reading this I really had to think about the existence of ghosts. I've never believed in ghosts, and I still don't, but damn, I really want to.
"Tasogare Otome x Amnesia" otherwise known as Dusk Maiden of Amnesia is a school romance of a human male and a female ghost. I think the reason I actually loved this so much was that so many other authors have failed at ghost x human relationships, but not this time. This is a success. A brilliant success. The story is great, an occult research club investigating the seven mysteries of their school, sounds generic but this time
...
one of the people investigating is actually the center of all seven mysteries. Not only that but Yuuko, the ghost, does not remember how she died, or how she became a ghost. Now though, someone has come along who can see her, and is not afraid, but rather the opposite. Teichi Niiya is the protagonist in this, and does he have a keen eye for mysteries. Especially with each mystery unravelled they find out more about Yuuko's past.
Anyway, I don't want this to be long so I'll just say this. If you are looking for something different and you are not sure what, read this. For me, this was a 10/10. I don't give many high ratings but this one honestly deserves it.

8/10 so far... I think this is a fair rating of this and that the current 7.47 average is actually way too harsh. First off, the mangaka known as Seo Kouji is without a doubt my favourite of all drama writers. For me, Kimi no Iru Machi and Suzuka are the most ingenious stories I've read and I do hope this manga will also develop into something along the lines of their greatness. I would keep comparing these 3 manga however, Princess Lucia is very different. Seo Kouji has taken a risk of adding the supernatural element to his work as well as more comedy.
...
If it weren't for the serious nature of the art I wouldn't think it was the work of Seo Kouji.
The reason why this manga is an 8/10 is because it is an all-round very good manga. The story is very good with the romance of a devil princess and angels. The art is just as you would expect from Kouji as well as the uniqueness of the characters. The overall enjoyment and rating therefore comes to a fair and well-judged 8/10. I would recommend this manga to any lovers of supernatural harems and ecchi scenes, also lovers of romance and tsundere characters.

This will be a short review to give some insight to readers on the manga. First off, that 7 rating is likely to go up within the next couple chapters,it's highly unlikely for me to give higher than a 6 or 7 rating to manga's with fewer than 20 or so chapters but this is special. This manga is so clever with its portrayal of the characters, and let me tell you that this is far beyond a normal harem, these girls will viciously attack the others in some cases of getting to close to the protagonist! Among the Harem is a; Knight, Serial killer,
...
Vampire, Masochist, Stalker, Sleeping beauty, and a Little sister. These aren't spoilers, they are CLEARLY portryayed in the first few chapters. In this manga, each chapter is brilliant, out of the 160 manga I'm currently reading, I am always waiting for the next chapter Anormal-kei Joshi.

I started reading this manga shortly after the first chapter was translated. I'll keep this review short so people can just get an understanding of it. The story of the manga is somewhat original as the characters attempt to pass trials set by the government to keep alive for the crime of not being in a relationship. The main character is an otaku with his only interest being in 2D, with an obsessive yandere girl who wants him and a few other very unique characters. To be honest I might not sound like I am rating this high but this manga is worth at least
...
a 7 if not more for its consistent high quality chapters. No chapter out of the 12 translated so far has bored me and I truly recommend this manga for anyone looking for a funny and different romance story because there is no other manga like this at the moment.

This is my first time attempting a review, but I decided it was about time to give it a shot. This anime to me was very enjoyable, and I was always eagerly waiting for the next episode to come out, therefore making this anime most likely my favourite of this fall 2012 season.
Story: [8/10]
Very good story, I was disappointed to see how many people dropped the anime after it got serious, as even after the slight bit of drama, the anime plot only progressed and got better. A very emotional story, and I shed a tear or two to some of the scenes, be the
...
tears happy or sad, I'm glad the show managed to get me 'the watcher' to feel the emotion.
Art: [8/10]
Linking to the emotion of the show, the art did very well to show the feeling's of the characters, and made some of the scenes even more powerful. Not to mention the art in general was great, the 'Ethereal Horizon' scenes were incredibly well done and I was taken back by the work put into it.
Sound: [8/10]
Personally, I loved the opening, especially the very start of it with the piano playing. A lovely opening, and also a good ED to go with at the end of every episode is very important. The voice actors, especially Dekomori's actor (Uesaka, Sumire) were brilliant. Some very powerful scenes can often be ruined when the voice actors aren't up to standard, but not the case here. The voices of the characters were great, especially Rikka when she was shy.... CUTE.
Character: [10/10]
Eighth-Grader Syndrome, such a plus when it comes to judging the characters in Chu-2. The personalities of all of the members of the Eastern Napping Society.. in Summer, were so unique and fresh, a real change from the normal Heroines and characters. I also have a personal love the Dark Flame Master.. such a boss.
Enjoyment: [9/10]
I really did enjoy this anime, would really recommend it. Not only has it got comedy, but it includes some drama as well as a very cute Romance between the two main characters. Most likely my favourite anime for this season, and I will definitely have to re-watch this again in the near-future.
Overall: [9/10]
To sum up, this anime is Great. A class above very good anime (for me anyway) but not a 10/10 masterpiece at the same time. Highly recommended by me, a very loveable anime, it's a true shame that the story can only go on for 12 episode's, but at the same time I think that means a lot more happens in a shorter amount of time. Definitely give this a watch, you should fall in love with at least one of the girls; Nibutani, Dekomori, Kumin or Rikka, personally for me, Rikka is the one. Haha.
Be sure to say if you found this review helpful (or not), I might have gone on a bit but forgive me, it's my first time doing a review. If you want to have a discussion about this anime or a related one that I might have watched then don't be afraid to message or post a comment. Thank's for reading if you got this far. ^_^
