Just writing my review right after watching this movie.

THERE MAY BE SPOILERS BELOW, BE WARNED!!! (Almost Spoiler-free)

Story: 4/10
The story is really confusing at the start until that red-haired character showed up later in the movie. Just imagine the same person meeting each other but they are in different timelines. (This is some time travelling stuff) The main point of the story is falling in love with the same person who you had relationship with before. Personally, I don't really like the story so that's the main reason why I gave it a 4.

Art: 9/10
Art is exceptionally good in this movie. On par with Your Name ... and Weathering with You. People who likes anime with good art should try to watch this movie.

Sound: 7/10
Sound is somewhat good to me and gets a decent score from me easily.
I won't get into this because I don't critique music well.

Character: 6/10
Character development is pretty okay. All the characters are pretty interesting to watch, especially the red haired guy. I won't get into this because I only know the character for only 1 hour+ and may have to rewatch this sometime.

Enjoyment: 4/10
If I don't enjoy the story, I also won't get to enjoy the movie. Trust me, some decent Korean dramas have way better plot than this.

Overall: 5/10
I will cut it short.
- If you like good art anime, this movie you should give it a try.
- If you like good plot anime, avoid this movie.
- If both, I recommend avoid.

Alright, after watching the movie, I'm very tempted to write a review about this movie. Oh, this is my 2nd review so please forgive me if my review sounds 'nooby' or unprofessional or maybe biased. But, I will try not to sound biased like any other good reviewers. This review will be short and sweet for people who wants to get a general idea or wants to check out the reviews quickly.
Without further ado, lets begin!

Story: 4/10 (Very close to 5)
The story is very interesting and rather unique compared to other romance anime or movies. The story is about a runaway ... boy who just wants to live in a city and abandon his rural life and a girl who found something rather extraordinary and entered a random Torii (commonly found at the entrance of a shrine) and suddenly became the chosen one. (Watch the movie to find out) Whoa, she suddenly got the power to manipulate sunrise, rain and lightning. (WTF) Now, if you don't get the first part of the story very well, same here. The first part of the story is pretty slice-of-life and the characters are happily doing their 'routines'. Then, the 2nd part is VERY dark compared to the first part. The boy suddenly got a thing for the girl and wanting to give her a present for her birthday. Here, it is also the day where the boy found out about the consequences of the girl being the chosen one. Rather predictable I would say, great power comes with great responsibilities right? Then, the boy's parents filed for a police report for searching him. The girl has some issues on her side so both were devastated and become runaways with the little brother of the girl. Alright, not gonna spoil the whole story and the ending but all I can say is that Tokyo does not look good and obviously the guy and the girl met again at the same place where the guy found out her 'secret' or consequences. Happy ending, a few plot holes and UNEXPECTED CAMEO! (Which is the reason why the story score is pretty close to a 5)

Art: 10/10
Well, art is very well done and expected from the studio who created Kimi no Nawa or Your Name. So I'm not gonna explain much about this part.

Sound: 9/10
Sound is also great and well done as well. So I'm not gonna explain much about this part too.

Character: 6/10 (Overall) (I would consider putting a 5 for this but just for the sake of the art of the characters)

Hodaka (6/10): The general idea about this guy is that he is a runaway just because of his boring life at an isolated place of his. Then, he met the girl at a restaurant and eventually at an abandoned place. I really don't have much to talk about this guy but I can tell he's really nice and polite. (And rather faithful to the girl after they become close.)

Hina (7/10): The general idea about this girl is that she has the powers to control the weather after encountering something rather extraordinary. I mean she is cute and cheerful. But, she is also pretty naive at times like 'abusing' the power of hers to earn money but partially its the guy's fault and she really wants to help out others. She is also selfless as she is even willing to sacrifice herself for the world. Sometimes, people tend to get selfish when it comes to love and stuff, that's human nature and I can understand that too. (Which is the reason why Tokyo is so devastated at the end of the story)

Side characters: They are pretty average and rather caring. Got to praise Suga. Without him, the story will not be sweet.

Enjoyment (8/10): Well, in my opinion, the story may not be great for me or the quality similar to Your Name. But, the story is pretty enjoyable and the art contributed as well. Despite me questioning about the little plot holes and defying physics moments, all is okay since this is just an anime.

Overall (7/10): This movie is rather enjoyable and interesting to watch. You better watch it to get a clearer picture of what is going on with this movie and trust me, it is worth every cent. (Edit: After reading the whole plot again and again... I just personally don't feel like it deserve 8 but 7 instead. Because not because the movie is bad but the plot is pretty boring?) If I get more strict about the movie, this movie would actually get at most 5. (I am very bothered about giving this movie such a high score)

SPOILER ALERT: The ending is actually weird and rather dark since it doesn't match the timeline of Your Name. Also, Tokyo is going to get flooded which means Japan is going to end sooner or later. (Which means the characters are going to have some trouble with the rain later on. So happy ending for a while.) Here, you may disagree with me but if you take the story beyond the ending, its not gonna look good.

(*SPOILER ALERT BELOW*)This is my first manga review so bear with me. So far, I kinda enjoyed the manga until I was disturbed about the FMC (honestly) but I will try not to be biased and will give the good and bad points like a good reviewer would do.

WARNING: THIS MANGA HAS SOME RATHER DARK PAST FOR THE FMC. SO ITS POSSIBLE FOR YOU DROPPING THIS MANGA!

Story: 7-8 (around 8)
The story itself is very interesting and I have never encounter such story before throughout my manga collections. The story is rather self-explanatory and easy to understand so I would not elaborate much about the story. ... Read this if you want a 'unique' and interesting plot.

Art: 7
Meh. I have seen better art in mangas before so this manga is considered average but I'm quite nice so I give the score a bit higher than usual. The art itself isn't so bad that you would actually 'drop' this manga just because of the art, that means people who are into good looking mangas will be a bit disturbed but its bearable so haha.

Character: 9
This one I may be biased a bit but will try not to.
Main MC: His appearance may look plain and dull but his attitude towards the FMC is freaking man! Mad respect and hats off to him. Read the manga and you will know why because spoilers.

FMC: If you still reading this then good for you! (And for those who are wondering why am I so DISTURBED by the FMC) I will state my reasons why. ((((Spoiler alert: First, she ran away from home. The reason for this is currently unknown prior to writing this review so I may get back after a few dozen chapters are released. Second, she is a S*UT. I get the reason why she does it but the only thing I don't get is why must it be guys and her thinking is seriously F*cked up. Offering your body to a guy in exchange to live in their houses is the worst trade you can think off. But sadly, reality is not much different either so I can't actually be unreasonable.))))


Enjoyment: 5 (Could be a 4)
Its quite mediocre and have a common setting like other romance mangas. But its quite enjoyable for people who don't mind the FMC past. BTW, there will be some harem so a bonus to harem lovers!


Overall: 5-6 (around 6)
In conclusion, the only thing that made people dropped this is due to the FMC past and what she has done. If you can get over it, great! Because that is the only hard thing you need to accept about this manga and a wholesome moment will come by sooner or later. Sadly, I dropped this because of the FMC. (This may make me sound unreasonable but its just me).

This would be my second review so bear with me XD Heh, you guys should know Son Goku or Kakarot, a low class saiyan from a planet named Planet Vegeta has escaped from a drastic explosion made by Frieza or Emperor of Universe 7 (This is a spoiler but it is revealed before this show) XP

Now, this is held 18 years after Buu Saga... So this should have Battle of Gods and Resurrection F contain.... (Figure that yourselves XD)

Story: 8
Dragon Ball's story is very interesting and funny like other series but involves gods?! So this contains Sagas whom will involve ... gods mostly, different than other series, but it is very fun to watch! :)

Art: 5
Ok, I have no hard feelings about its animation like other serious DB fans but what is wrong with Goku's face when he fights?! And other issues too, please improve it Toei.... :/

Sound: 9
The sound is very good and really fits the situation and the Saga's themes, so I have no complaints about this section! XD

Character: 7
This is very weird to say but I don't exactly hate it but I really cringe at some parts of the character's personality..... What about Vegeta? Toei really make Vegeta's personality gone out of range that I felt that he changed too much like why he act so weird when he wants Whis to train him... (Oops no more spoilers XD) XP

Enjoyment: 10
This section they never failed me before, I really enjoyed the story, characters and the plot as each Saga has different point of views, so no surprise that this get a perfect 10! X0

Overall: 9
Despite its weird animation errors and etc. I have no other complaints as this could be one of the best animes I ever watch! :)
