If you haven't already seen my profile, then one of my favourite anime series is Shingeki no Kyojin. If I remeber correctly, it was third on my list. I also want to warn you that this is a fangirl review and I am not responsible for any broken laptops, computers and mobile devices.
Story:
At first glance, there doesn't seem to be much of a story to Attack on Titan other than killing Titans. But as I watched further into the series, it was a lot more than that. A whole lot more. It showed what was really went on behind the scenes of the military.
...
The story was also very captivating. It seemed to put you its mouth, chew you and eventually spit you out. I also found the Titans and the theme of isolation (behind the walls) very interesting because on of the branches of the military, the Survey Corps, goes out beyond the walls. And there's something else that could help humanity, but could also brutally destroy it as well. Don't be deceived at the first glance of the premise, because it's a whole lot more than you even think. Hell, I even thought that this was just about fighting these humanoid creatures at first glance. It was so much more than just that. I contained a lot of dialogue which I really liked. It could be really sad and tragic at times. There are also a few comedic scenes with Sasha Braus 'Potato Girl' which I thought was excellent as well.
Art and Sound:
The art was stunning! Everything was really well drawn and the character designs were also very nice. Even the cities and walls looked realistic and I just wanted to go outside as soon as I'd finished this and look at how beautiful nature really is. I also really liked the animation for when the characters would literally fly from rooftop to rooftop at high speed with these really long swords! Wow! It really made me want to try this myself one day. The OSTs were REALLY FREAKING AWESOME. Just freaking awesome. They made you want to go out and kill the Titans it was so good! After I watched the anime, I decided to go out and download BOTH of the openings they were so great.
Character:
I don't think that I have seen such unique characters before because they don't really fit into any set archetypes. We have our determined and very loyal characters. And we also have characters that maybe the viewers could relate to a lot more than others. We also have our 'strange' characters who (really) like to clean and who is scarily obsessed with Titans. We also have our funny characters who really made me laugh sometimes. All our characters have some sort of development or growth. I think that three of them are in my favourite character list.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed this to the FREAKING max. Hell, I enjoyed so much that I bought it on DVD when it was released. I've been telling my friends to go out and watch this just because I want them to know how awesome this show is! Currently I've been collecting the manga so I can read it soon.
Overall:
10/10. Fangirl review.

Story:
The story was okay and there were some aspects I really liked, for example the day and night classes, which I thought was really good. I also liked the idea of prefects having to keep the humans and vampires in line when it comes to the classes. But the part I really didn't like was the fact that Yuki Cross was totally pathetic and couldn't really do anything for herself. Kaname and Zero always came to her rescue every time she messed up. There were also a lot of long romantic stares and soppy melodrama. The story never really comes to any climax.
Art:
The
...
art is okay. Nothing particularly special or worth talking about.
Sound:
The music is mainly classical in this series. It fits the anime, even if it's not the type of music I normally listen to.
Character:
This is probably the part of the anime I disliked the most. Yuki was totally lame and relied on Kaname and Zero all the time. She carries this staff thing around all the time and she doesn't do a very good job of using it because Kaname or Zero. She was just a really boring heroine. I have no problem with characters being really weak at the beginning but I expect them to grow and develop as a character. But no. The male leads would just promptly come to her aid as if it was routine. Then there's Zero, who just wanted to die all the time. We also have Kaname who rescues Yuki all the time, but we have no real reason why he does. I mean it was kinda cute, but at the same time really creepy why he'd do that with no motivation or reason behind it.
Enjoyment:
To be perfectly honest, I didn't expect this anime to good. I only really watched it because I saw it on Chrunchyroll when I had nothing better to do. I just wanted to watch it casually and switch my brain off while watching it.

Angel Beats! holds a special place in my heart because it was one of the first series I watched when I was properly getting into anime. Please also bear in mind that I haven't watch this in a while.
Characters:
The characters in Angel Beats! are marvelously crafted even if they do have flaws.
Our main characters are Yuri and Otonashi-kun. Yuri is an energetic leader, while Otonashi-kun is a more down-to-earth character. While their character archetypes aren't new, they are portrayed rather well. They both go through some sort of development and growth throughout the series. We also learned the motivations for what they do
...
and why through their back stories.
Next up, we have Angel or Tenshi. She fits well into the Kuudere archetype pretty well. Yes, we do have some development through the series as well. Despite, this we never get much back story, or motivations.
We also have Iwasawa and Yui, who are part of the supporting cast. They get heartbreaking back stories but not so much development.
Last but not least, we have the rest of the supporting cast. Here we have wacky and weird yet so interesting and intriguing, but we never get any proper development or back story. It's a shame because they had so much potential to be fantastic characters. However, I think this was because the series was only thirteen episodes.
Art:
The art and visuals were absolutely stunning. Character and scenery was beautiful and captures the series perfectly.
Sound:
The sound was perfect as well. The opening and endings really pulled on your heartstrings, which made a lasted impression on me. The songs they used by Girls Dead Monster were fantastic as well.
Story:
Dead teenagers trapped in the middle of the afterlife? Guns? Battles? Sounds good to me. As far as my knowledge goes, I've never really heard of a series with a similar premise.
The story is filled with heartbreak and is quite a tearjerker, however it does have it's fair share of dark and sadistic (which is my type comedy). This turns out to be quite balanced at the beginning, but towards the end the comedy eventually wears away.
My worst complaint is that they never really explain why they hated Tenshi so much or why they thought she was actually an angel.
Enjoyment:
It was a blast, but just don't take it too seriously.
Overall:
Worth watching. 9/10.

This is my first review so please bear with me. I also apologize in advance if I use any profanity or capitalization of words.
Characters:
For our main male character, we have Kirito, an ace player of the game. He is an excellent swordsman, is way too easy to beat and is for the most part unbeatable. Maybe it is a good thing for him in a life-or-death situation, but to watch as entertainment is just plain predictable. He seems to somehow overpower every single opponent he encounters, while I'm just sat in front of my laptop just thinking: "He's gonna win this." Maybe
...
if he came in the game not as experienced then it would be more fun watching him learn and grow as a character. But no. When it comes to romance he seems to be pretty much the same. Most female character he encounters seems to fall head over heels in love with him, even creating is own harem (which includes his own FREAKING COUSIN). Maybe apart from Asuna, this seemed to really annoy me. He also lacks personality, which just makes him really bland. Hell, even the parody YouTube videos seemed to make him lot more interesting and fun than the one in the actual series.
Our female lead character, Asuna, is just a generic Tsundere. In the first episode she appeared in, she had so much potential: being new to the game she is a pretty skilled player and seems pretty badass. She also seems to be a pretty good leader. But,she turns out to be another tsundere with not a lot else. Yeah, sure she's badass but that's it. THAT'S IT. Nothing else. And then her and Kirito always need to be together ALL THE FREAKING TIME.
The side characters. Oh, the side characters. They had the potential to be good, but they just weren't when I wanted them to be. They came in at some point but were just shoved to the side to never be seen again or came on only a few times. I really wanted Kline to have a decent back story, development and screen time, but no. It never happened.
Last but not least, the wonderful creator of Sword Art Online himself. He was just blah. Just plain blah. No motivations were explained as to why he trapped so many people in a game. Nope. Nothing.
Art:
The art is stunning, quite frankly. It's really nice and fluid throughout the series, along with amazing scenery even during the filler episodes. Scenery looks good, just not the fanservice.
Sound:
Opening and ending fit the show well, even if it's not the type of music I normally listen to. The voice acting is alright.
Story:
The premise sounds okay even if I've heard it before. The first episodes are somewhat decent, introducing the characters and the plot. Before we know it months have passed and thousands of players have died off screen and we're not even showed a short montage? No. The first two are only really the decent ones in the entire show so make sure you make the most of them.
The third episode quickly tries to form emotional bonds to characters just in a few minutes which just comes off as ridiculously rushed.
Next comes romance in the air and harem antics. The next few episodes are all about some girls falling in love with Kirito the same day they meet him. This also involves fanservice, blushing and tsundere actions. These episodes are pretty much filler.
The biggest problem is filler. Too much filler. Somehow they manage to find time to resurrect a dragon, marry Asuna, go on a honeymoon, solve a 'murder', eat and go fishing while trying to get back into reality. Everyone loves fishing in a VIDEO GAME, right? This just follows with eye ball rolling melodrama, tears and promises of love. The surprising thing is that this happened in around fourteen episodes. Yes, there are eleven left.
The last half is just pretty much the same as the first but without the life or death aspect. It goes downhill from there. It's just completely unnecessary. They should have just delete those eleven episodes and finish it right there. But no, it shreds up every piece of dignity it had left.
Another problem is that the show just takes its self way too seriously. It makes it look like a super serious adventure inside a video game, but it just came off as a group of idiots messing around. I think that you should just switch off your brain when watching this.
Enjoyment:
Switch your brain off when you're watching this, unlike I did. Action and sound was great but just don't expect a lot from the characters and story. I could sit back after watching an episode and go "Ahh. That episode was awesome." but somewhere in my brain I'm saying "Oh my God. Really? You've gotta be kidding, right?" Just to reiterate, make sure you switch your brain off or don't think too much while watching this because it makes it look like a bunch of idiots messing around in a video game.
