As soon as I read the plot line for Aldnoah, I immediately thought of Gundam SEED. A special guy that has the capabilities to man a mecha, a princess that promotes peaces who ended up with the enemy ship while doing so, flying battleship, Earth vs space dwellers, manipulative antagonist. All in all Adnoah seems to belong in the Gundam series. Maybe "Mobile Suit Gundam Aldnoah?"

The two shows are very similar. Same lead voice actors, supernatural female protagonist, trades, lots of dialogues, female protagonist wants to go somewhere that ended her and the male lead to travel together. Maoyuu is good so far.

Perfect Blue

They are both psychological and thriller anime. Both made on the same year too so you'd get the same feeling while watching one or the other. The only difference is that Serial Experiments Lain is more of a sci-fi series and the Perfect Blue movie is about an idol. Both have the same element where the characters cannot distinguish reality from fantasy/other world.

Oh come on, how similar can you get with these two? Good looking aliens? Check. Guy romantically involved with said alien? Check. School setting? Check. The main difference I can point out is the storyline. Onegai Teacher tipped more on the drama scale. AnoNatsu has better art style and animation though. Anyway, both were entertaining to watch.

Bot manga are about kendo. Characters are somewhat similar too. Like how both have a member where they hate to lose. There's also one that is usually carefree but in fact, really good at kendo.

I have a feeling that Ano Hana is like Clannad in the making. Maybe the atmosphere they give off? Anyway, both are awesome (so far Ano Hana is doing good). Quite the drama too. And yeah, both have deaths in it.

Come on! Magical Girls? Kick ass girls? Yup. Both have them. But these shows are no ordinary magical girls that kids these days should watch, particularly Madoka. Be warned to get fckd up in Madoka. In a good way.

Obviously both anime are all about clubs and the members' passion in their club. Both have comedy, though K-on! is funnier (i think). However, Bamboo Blade have some slice of seriousness at times. Both clubs in the anime had the time where they were about to split up (where members starts not to show up in the clubroom). Bithe moe animes ^^

Well, Both anime have random plot which is full of humor. If you like TMHS you'll definitely like Lucky Star. One of the main characters in Lucky Star, Konata is an otaku hs student. You can see haruhi suzumiya whenever there is reference to anime in this series. The only difference is the way the characters are designed. But overall when you think of Lucky Star, TMHS comes to mind and vice-versa ^^

Saki
|
Both have moe characters. Both have comedy in it, though Bamboo Blade has a lot more funny scenes than Saki. Both anime also revolve around a school club with just a few members in it (5 girls with a guy). So far, Bamboo Blade has better plot and has some conflicts in the story. However, Saki is just a new released anime so the second season might come out next year? But I think there is a high chance of Saki second season. Animation of both anime's done pretty well too.
