Such a unique story. The main character is so weak that he only beats like one opponent in the early story. The first season focuses a lot on the characters introducing instead of the MC progressing. The cards power system is very good, the world building too, but the story and the pacing is kinda meh. The MC also lacks charisma and power to keep us viewer hooked to him in the first season. his high accuracy in shooting and pickpocketing. His 2 spade card is basically useless as he can just use any pistol or even a better gun. I have finished all 12 episodes and he's still as bland as ever. No power up and is still useless in combat. So, how did he survives all the 12 episodes? Plot armor of course, as per usual in animes. Make an OP high card opponent miss their skills or make some random other characters indirectly help him so he can run. Yes run, not beat the opponent. I wonder how long will it took in the second season to finally see him powers up.
