- Both are "From Another World" type of plots. - Both main characters have mysterious powers. - Tad bits of romance in each. - Main character isn't completely overpowered from the start, but gets gradually stronger. - Inner conflicts, epic fights! - Last but not least- a main girl who's hot.

Nisekoi is an anime that has the same kind of romantic comedy feel to it, but the main characters are completely different. I'm recommending this for those who like the whole normal people, rom-com, school setting. If you like the whole part where the main character has the *special trait* in Tanaka-kun, this would be his listlessness, then Nisekoi is not for you. Nisekoi is a harem, romance, comedy, school, has 2 seasons, possibly 3, and OVA's. Main male character, but it's unlike most harems. It has lots of unique characters, the plot is great for each character's background, and not many are that annoying, imo. So yeah. If you like the whole rom-com-school setting, Nisekoi is for you! If you're on Nisekoi's page, and see this, feel free to read the next section: Tanaka-kun is about Tanaka, a boy who is lethargic, and according to him, "sleep takes up about 80% of my human needs." So yeah. He dozes off in mid-conversation, and his friend, Ohta, ends up carrying him around everywhere. Tanka-kun is a rom-com, of sorts. It's not a complete rom-com, because he is unaware of the feelings, and potential feelings around him. Well, that, and he doesn't care. Tanaka doesn't treat the girls like trash, and the story has it's remarkable and funny moments. So yeah, chances are if you like Nisekoi, you'll like this!
