Solid show. If I was rating the first half alone, I would've given it a 10/10. The humor was so subtle yet consistently present. The visuals are beautiful. Every interaction with mob had me oddly on the edge of my seat as he is so unpredictable in conversation. Although I don't care much for fight scenes, they were much better in episodes 7ish and earlier. Later one they were just meh. The last couple of episodes fell pretty flat and weren't really funny (except for the second to last one). Music can also be better, but it looks like they got the hint in season

Would've rated the show higher if they had given some development to Pets' dislike of Kana. The episode where Pets spilled her mind (episode 5) was one of the most emotionally powerful scenes I have ever seen in anime. I just wish they'd given a buildup to it cause it came kinda out of nowhere. If it hadn't been for that, I would say this is almost equal to or maybe even better than the original season.
Just some other thoughts... Kana was really annoying, but I guess that was the point. I just wish they could've displayed this aspect of her in a less cringy way. This ... |
