Baki is the most conspicuous inspiration for Kengan Ashura. Tokita Ohma is basically Baki Hanma as written in the 2010's as opposed to the 90's. Both series focus on underground fighting tournaments, and frame their characters as vessels of their martial arts style and how that style compares. Both are well drawn, hyper violent, and frequently very weird. If you enjoyed Kengan Ashura, you will very likely enjoy Baki, and vice-versa.
