This was a great anime, perhaps one of the best this season (Winter 2012).
Mystery, horror, death, gore, a hit of teenage hormones, what else could you ask for? It reminded me of Hagurashi and Elfen Lied, if you liked those you are sure to enjoy Another.
It kept me on the edge from episode 1. But I wouldn't watch it if you don't like gore.
The story has an interesting plot (9/10) but I would stay away from the forums because they contain some spoilers. Don't read them, they'll ruin the ending.
Overall it was great series 9/10!

This is my first review, so it will be short and to the point.
If you enjoy Natusme Yuujinchou you'll love this. It has the same feeling, art and atmosphere but most importantly it has something that Natsume is missing, romance. And for people that are only into action/adventure anime, you should this a try its nice to take a break from all that action once in a while, I'm sure that you;ll at least enjoy it. The story is beautiful and although the ending came as a surprise to me, it will leave a lasting impression on you. And be warned, you will want to ... |
