I decided to watch this series after a long time, because I felt really close to me this theme.

I would lie if I say that I didn't like it.
I don't want to make an analysis because most of the reviews are far better.
I just want to say a few things:

CHARACTERS: you feel reals characters, humans commit mistakes everyday and Kuzu No Honkai remember it to us. This series show us how a real relationship works. Many people complain about the final, I think it's kind of sweet ending, maybe not the best ending, but it really works.

MUSIC: Wonderful opening, excellent Sayuri's Heikousen.

This anime is ... not for people who find difficult to accept reality.

Akame Ga Kill it's the typical anime with a lot of gore and nothing else. Although the plot could be interesting, there isn't anything that can give it something special. Characters are not developed enough so you don't have the time to understand them or to be sad when they die. The major problem of this serie is that characters are separeted between good and evil, reason for which the villains lack of badassing, and most of the time they seem to be really stupid and uselessness. The only reason I decided to finish the serie it's because I wanted to see them dying ... just because they had no reason to act evil.
The only positive thing I found watching this anime it's art, characters are well designed and fighting scenes are enough violent. The music in general lack of power, mostly in the fighting scenes where there is always too calm music. The opening and closing are good but I think they don't match with an anime who is expected to be really violent and gore. Perhaps if the serie was developed to be longer, it could have more potential.

Fistly, i would like to say that I didn't see first anime series and didn't reed the manga.

This series I think it's a resume of tears and enjoyment that a few anime could give. It's not a traditional shoujo. Every character it's perfectly drawn and has a background story who is deep and emotionating. The only thing I didn't like it's Tohru's voice, too much sweet and annoying.
The best episodes I saw are the one about Tohru's mother Story, and the one about real form of kyou. I felt such a deep sadness watching them, but even though they were so sad, I felt ... something that a few anime series can give. I think that this particular feeling make Fruits Baskets different from other anime series.
I hope the second season will be as this one!
