I have read the manga this anime is based on and so far, the anime has taken it very slow with the story, but if you want to watch a yuri that actually contains lesbians, I recommend this show.
Hime-chan the main character comes off as two-faced and somewhat like a gold digger, at least in her introduction - but when you look at her behavior more closely, and how desperate she is to please everyone and make everyone like her, it's clear she has some major people pleasing problems.
Yano-chan on the other hand, is very heavily autism-coded and refuse to put up a
...
friendly facade, and does not understand social cues what so ever. As far as I've watched and read however, it's not talked about in a "autism" sort of way, more in a "that's just how she is" -way.
Later (at least in the manga), we are as readers watching from Himes point of view in the relationship and often times the side characters scold Yano for her behaviors towards Hime which really rubs me the wrong way considering it's not Yano's fault that she is autistic. I hope they will remove some of those moments, though and this is a sidenote since this is from the manga.
In conclusion the story is rather cute, it has some funny moments, but where it shines in my opinion is depicting these less than perfect characters and still make you cheer for them as well as containing actually lesbian characters (hopefully they will be explored in the anime). The main couple has lots of chemistry and it's obvious from the start that Hime is interested in Yano.
