...then you might like Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch add

Code Geass, but without the superpowers and a plot that actually makes sense. The shows have a lot of similar character types, however LoGH is much more grounded and build them to a much better degree. The show is heavy on politics and strateg, with schemes on both sides running deep. LoGH also presents many more sides than simply the good kids vs the oppressors. Each plotline raises many moral questions, and it's rare for anyone to ever be strictly in the right or wrong.

Not as bloody as Hellsing, but if you like guns and stupid action, it's there. The animation style of the two shows is quite similar as well

They aren't technically similar, but involve a lot of the same over the top shit that makes them great. Lot's of shouting, action that doesn't make any sense but you love to see it

Here me out, Domestic girlfriend is a trash show and is purely comedy/entertainment over any kind of deep message. But the shows have some common appeal, both deal with people in similarly stupid situations and have bizarre outcomes.

Going back to the classics. Trigun has a lot of similar elements in terms of action and slices of comedy. It may feel very watered down compared to black lagoon at first though

Less mature and more ridiculous than Cromartie High, but both are hilarious and memorable

They aren't really similar at all. But if you enjoyed DiU for the villain and murder mystery elements, Monster the best of that you can find in anime. It also goes much deeper into the psychological and background elements of it's characters.

The content and developments of these series are completely different, but the feel they get across is quite similar. Lots of over the top screaming and action so ridiculous that there's no medium outside of anime that could get away with it
