This is a very good ova. In most animes the ova will involve the characters just messing around at home or at the beach or at the hot springs, etc. But this one actually has a story, and a fleshed out one at that. The studio also does a good job at fitting the ova in-between the two seasons, even though they made this after the second season concluded. The only drawback I found, was a few little inconsistencies with the characters' personalities, but that can almost be expected in ovas. The sound and music was just as good as the main story, so you ... won't be too disappointed there. If you want to see more of Owari no Seraph after finishing the main story, this is for you, as it adds more action and a good mini-story. All in all, it deserves a 9.5 or higher.

Alright. This ova is a bit different than other ovas.

Story - 5
There isn't really any story in this, it's just some scenarios put in to show ecchi. But, this is exactly what the developers are going for, so it works out fine. The first involves Tamamo and Shirasaki in a drawing scene, the second shows Kana and Senri at the beach, and the 3rd has Kodachi and Sayumi (the blue haired hacker/restaurant worker) at the restaurant and then the bath. Each episode contains very revealing photos of the girls and has the girls talking to each other as well.

Art - 5
The art consists of photos ... mainly. There isn't much animation at all, but since the anime was going for this, you can't really give them a low score.

Sound - 5
The sound isn't anything different from the main story.

Character - 6
The characters are all pretty much the same, just thrown into ecchi situations.

Enjoyment - 5
I didn't really enjoy it all that much, because I personally like full-animation and story. (most ovas are fine), but the small amount of story they added was enough to keep me watching. Other people might find the enjoyment to be less or more, depending on who they are though.

Overall - 5
These episodes are mainly focused on the people who love ecchi, and the people who will watch anything "Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai (A Good Librarian, Like a Good Shepherd)" related. But if you have time to kill, you misewell watch it.

I'm going to judge this as a typical harem, to make it fair to the show. If her Flag Breaks should not lose points just for being a harem, because it was made for people who wanted to see a harem.

*Story* 9/10
The story is pretty much your generic harem in the beginning, albeit a little different due to the addition of flags. The first few episodes consisted mainly of introducing the characters, and setting up the main story. As the story progresses, it shows that it is actually a well thought out story and actually provides reasons as to why he has ... his ability to see flags and why the girls in the show seem to gravitate towards him. Now, I'm not saying this story is stellar, I'm saying for a typical HAREM anime, it has a very good story.

*Art* 7/10
I'm no art specialist when it comes to anime, so I can't give an accurate score on this, but I found the art just fine. I'd say it's a bit above average. But that's all.

*Sound* 7/10
Once again, I have no idea how to grade this, but I had no issue with the sound, and the opener was interesting enough for me to at least watch it a few times.

*Character* 8/10
The Characters are probably a hit or miss for most people. A few characters have generic qualities to them, but I found each character with traits that aren't used very often. Other characters are rarely seen in other animes and I found it refreshing. Most characters have some backstory to them, especially the main character and a few of the "first" girls. The main character's backstory is clouded in mystery till the very end and ends up connecting to the other girls quite nicely. His personality is uncommon in harem as well, for he is not "empty-headed" as I'm sure harem-watchers are well acquainted with.

*Enjoyment* 9/10
I found this anime quite enjoying to watch. It went for a romantic comedy and pretty much delivered. Some of the comedy and romance are touch and go, but it makes up for that in other areas. I also enjoyed the story and was pretty baffled as to how they would connect the dots, but they managed.

Overall I would give it an 8/10
