Bakuman.

They're both really similar because Bakuman and Glass no Kamen have protagonists that are working hard towards their goal. Glass no Kamen is more psychological but the characters and the plot are pretty much identical, and there is always someone cheering them on from behind the scenes. Give it a try for yourself and see what I am saying.

Very good anime and has a lot of similarities to Detective Conan, and it is way shorter. The main characters have really good VA's from popular anime: Ryu (Neji from Naruto) and Kyu (Naoi from Angel Beats). The action in this for how many episodes there are is really nice and the plot is actually visible. If you are looking for a good detective anime, watch this.

Ajin Part 2

Death Note and Ajin are quite similar in a way because they both include brutal deaths and having supernatural powers that cause them to be chased by the police. I would recommend Ajin because the animation and the plot really make it stand out from the rest of the psychological anime, and it is something that is overlooked by others. - Character development is quite good - Psychological aspect really gets under your skin - Give it a try if you even liked Death Note in the slightest

Shiki

Both of them are really similar in the fact that the taking of lives is quite common. Shiki talks about the existence of vampires (Shiki) that move into a village, and after days pass, turn the people that were once hardworking into their own kind without any thought. Also, they are both very gloomy and psychological anime that talk about past historical events and connect them into modern day society. If you are interested in something that will give you the chills, Shiki is a good choice. I'd give it an 8/10 overall.

Capeta

I don't want to make this long but they are both really similar... One of the main characters (Nobu) literally has the same VA as Ippo and their personalities are basically the same. The anime starts off in Capeta's childhood and his family is basically dirt poor and his mother passed away at a young age. After discovering karting, he proves to everyone that he can go above and beyond expectations at race tournaments. Give this a shot please you won't regret it.

I'd recommend both of these anime to those that are looking to get a cry on. Gankutsuou (The Count of Monte Cristo) is based on the legend of Edmond Dantes, where he died a tragic death and wants his vengeance on the world. The anime starts off relatively slow but picks up drastically after the first few episodes. You might find yourself confused about the pacing at first but rest assured, the anime will make it up to you towards the end of it. This anime is similar to Clannad because of how both of them include losing someone important, and have a lot of sadness as the backbone of it. Sorry for the essay but if you didn't read it just give this anime a try, it's really emotional and made me cry for the first time in ages.

If you've watched Haikyuu then you will definitely like Welcome to the Ballroom, they are different in terms of sports but the thrill you get from watching it and the drama/upbeat feelings you get from it are very similar. This is an anime you definitely should not pass up.
