This is pretty much your typical slice of life manga with a bit more of complicated love interests. You'll grow to hate and like (none of the characters are enough to "love", at least that was the case for me) some of the characters (& by hate, you'll probably reallllly hate them).
The art for me was good enough. Not the BEST, not by a long shot, but it was enough for me to pick it up.
Overall I'd rate this as a good and would recommend this to my friends IF they've already read the better shoujo mangas. Also, I actually enjoyed the ending.

I'd been on the hunt for a good Shoujo manga, before this story I read a few boring ones that didn't leave much of an impression on me. I came across this one and read the reviews (all that highly praised this manga btw) So I decided to pick it up and read it AND BOY I"M SO HAPPY I DID.
Hajimari no Niina made me ~almost cry (I sucked it up because I was reading it at work) I'm not crazy about romances with a huge age gap, at some point in the manga I was rooting for another guy, but I quickly ended ... May 25, 2019

The art for this manga is right up my alley, which is why I decided to pick this up to read. It starts out your typical slice of life romance, popular boy dislikes main female protagonist. This type of romance was a little weird because of their family relationship.. but despite that I kept reading because of the humor and I kinda just wanted to know how they would end up overcoming the challenges that came from their relationship.
