Looking over the fact the one is Mecha and Space, and the other is Fantasy and Swords, both are clean cut images of each other. Yukina and Ken are forced together by chance after Yukina awoke Ken after a long sleep, and fight against the enemies that wronged Ken, in a very similar way. The romance is about the same as after as love rivals and Ken's lost love. Inuyasha is almost the exact reference for Kuromukuro, if not completely as far as Plot. Characters, however, differ.

Both animes have to do with a boy falling in love with a "monster" girl. Both have to do with dangerous "monsters" and myths Both have the MC looking after the girl Pretty much the same as far as main couple go except Sankarea has zombies, while this one has demons
