I must say I felt so blessed when I was recommended this manga.
There are about 3 4 stories making up a whole volume but I will only focus on the first story - 1996's summer holidays.
Man I'm head over heel with this story. It's just perfectly absolutely my type!
On the first day of the summer, 4 women gathered at the Yamamoto's house. They were all there due to a letter from an ex boyfriend, Hiroyuki Yamamoto. It turned out he left the countryside for Tokyo a long time ago to pursue his dream of being a successful musician. There, he met the 3 biggest loves
...
of his life, whom he never forgot until the day he died.
At his house, the women cheerfully ate and slept and talked together. Although it was all the trivial things about their mutual ex boyfriend, they always gently smiled and comfortably lent each other an ear.
Each story was gradually revealed. Sad, regretful, heart-breaking, silly, crazy and nostalgic. Be that as it may, Hiroyuki is still their forever love.
And upon the final story, at the point where their memories collide, Hiroyuki appeared the last time for all of them to say goodbye. Goodbye to their regret, leave the sadness behind so that they can live on.
At the end, the 3 women who came from Tokyo went back to their present home. The left the 4th girl with a hopeful future.
The manga is short and the panels are sometimes messy, which would make you lose track of the events. But it's still a silent classic to me.
"Ah, the men are silly."
"They sure are."
"Because no matter what happens, women always continue living."

Damn, guys! You should really give this cutie a try! I like everything about it, including the old-fashion art style and plot-twist. And most important of all, it truly touched my heart, which hardly any manga from the 90s could do.
The main concept is about an age-gap love. Sarasa, 21 years old, met Rin, a 16 year old cute and smart boy at the airport when they were both on their trip to Paris. She was on vacation and Rin was visiting his divorced dad. It turned out that Rin had a kinda extremely serious air sick so Sarasa let him lean on her.
Touched by
...
her kindness, Rin frequently dropped by Sarasa at her hotel. However, there was one time Sarasa was madly drunk and she took off her top in front of the boy. They then had a sweet week full of sex and romance.
Unfortunately, when they got back to Japan, Sarasa realized his love for her only did harm to Rin's future. He was too willing to abandon everything behind to be with her. Therefore, she left without saying a word only to meet him again after 3 years when she was going to marry his older brother.
At first, this story appears to be just typical of an age-gap romance where a girl is mature and charming and the boy is youthful and sweet. However, it did successfully build up a very realistic tragedy of this type of romance. Despite head over heels in love, the lovers had to part their ways because they were not ready to lead a life together.
But, time had proved their love for each other is real. When they met again, they immediately fell in love one more time even though Sarasa had been married to her dear husband.
After all, I like the way Akira - Rin's brother and Sarasa's husband gave an end to this tragedy. He was probably the most generous, tolerant and selfless guy I've ever seen.
Overall, this is truly an excellent but not too melodramatic story. It's funny at times and short enough to enjoy for a night.
Highly recommend, guys!

Well, since I am the first one to land a review here so I guess I have a need to analyze this manga in details. However, this story continually gets on nerve with its exaggerated and predictable plot. Thus, you guys shouldn't expect much from this review. I did try my best to write down nice words anyway.
A normal girl who was raised by her grandfather became homeless when he passed away. Before kicking the bucket, he told her that she had a biological brother and that she could find him at this address. And since she had no other relatives, she came to
...
look for her brother and found that there are two boys under the name of Kiritani.
They are both adopted children so they have no idea who is truly the girl's brother. However, our heroine would surely work out a way to stay at the boys' place. (It's the old-as-the-hill classic method of persuading, she put on an innocent face with large-open eye and a silly determined speech that would take the guys by surprise). Finally, the two rich guys were convinced to keep her in for a few days until they know the truth.
Well, to save my precious leisure time, I would drop this from here. There's nothing left to expect from this typical shoujo. If you're looking for a story with a nice bro-sis relationship, I would recommend Fudatsuki no Kyoko-chan!

It was a cool and rainy evening. I came across this manhwa in the list of "psychological love stories". The glamorous art style struck me right at the first glance so I immediately decided to give it a go. Although I don't really enjoy it, I still don't regret reading it after all.
In general, this is a very simple love story and predictable plot twist. It was ridiculously patient of me to go through all the pages without any skipping. I must say I'm really into twisted love these days so I found their annoying and amusing melodrama interesting.
Well, I admit that it was only
...
the art that had me above all. The characters are truly bothersome. But it still worth the reading, 'cause you know, this is just like looking at a Renaissance art. You will never work out why you like it after all.
Take my advice. You can give it a go but don't expect much.

Long long time ago, witches were born from people's greedy wishes. They carried incredible powers in order to turn all ears to people's desire and grant them.
There was a witch powerful than most of all named Suri. She is the witch of "Revenge".
***
Yes, I must say the webtoon is no less then a masterpiece. It's been my favorite so far. Everything about it is just amazing. And what I enjoy the most is that, unlike other extremely long webtoons, this one is perfectly adequate. I finished it within a morning and regretted nothing.
All in all, this is a very sad story about love and
...
twisted love. The powerful witches always treasure humankind even more than themselves; and, although they were sick of hearing non-stop 'wishes', they still kept an eye on greedy weaklings. While the demons, who adore their masters more than the world, their love for the witches is so twisted that they felt hurt and betrayed when the witches treasure humans too much. They're all pitiful.
However, Suri did manage to put an end to all the grudges, misunderstandings and conflicts which she started herself. She embraced all her beloved one with the deepest love of her all. I'm really satisfied with the ending. Although it's not a happy ending but undeniably a very good one. People who didn't die in the final battle can now keep on living happily.
If you're really into psychotic love and friends-then-turn-enemies tragedy, then this is definitely for you. Highly recommend!
"I just want Suri to be happy."
"I need Suri to be mine only."
"If Suri died, then I would have no reasons to live on."
"I just want to get back to the old days when we were together."
"Suri is calling. I have to go to her."

Well, first of all, I must say this story is one of the best from Harada-sensei. Harada is specialized in yaoi and yaoi doujinshi. I can't find any Harada profile online so I have completely no idea if sensei is a man or woman. However, I have a strong feeling that sensei is a smart-looking modern woman, so I will refer to sensei as "she" if you don't mind.
In general, Harada works are full of explicit sex scenes which are exciting and sweet at the same time. If you find this disturbing, then please keep in mind that when it comes to yaoi, sex sells.
...
Haha. Enough of chit chat, let's go straight into details.
One night, Yata went joggind and accidentally found Momo clearing c*m out of his a$$ in a public toilet. Momo offered Yata a BJ in exchange for money since he had gone broken few minutes ago. Instead of feeling disgusting and running away, Yata gently cheered Momo up and gave him his jacket together with his address. "If you completely have no place to stay, I can let you stay at mine for just one night." That's when the story began.
To make it short, it's a story about saved and savior. The kind and warm-hearted Yata truly changed Momo deep from the bottom of his heart. Momo gave up his sad and empty life as a f*ckboy to set up a serious relationship with Yata. Together, they went through all the hardships awaiting, then reached the happy ending.
Harada is very famous for "her" psycho characters, which make up outstanding plot twist and character buildings. You will never run out of surprise, joy, excitement, "aww so cute!" and "hahaha this part really killed me". Above all, the story is short enough to enjoy for a single night.
I swear you will love it even if you're not really into yaoi!

Cute and cute!
At first, everything looks just like an ordinary friendship-turn-love story. However, the author smartly emphasized the developing progress of the two young people. What I enjoy the most about it is that it's so related to your daily experience.
Every character has their own colors, both dark and light. I like the slow pace of the story, not too dramatic but left deep impression on you. Also the drawing style is adorable.
But, the story went on way too long! It's typical of webtoons nowadays to be extremely extended so that the authors would make the most money out of them. As a result,
...
you will find it easy to forget or miss out some important details, which may be relatively confusing if the author don't flash back them.
Overall, highly recommend guys!

Due to an unpleasant accident, the two cousin-but-live-together-like-siblings Hanmi and Junhyuk had to transfer to another high school right at the beginning of 2nd term. They childishly agreed to keep their relationship a secret and started a completely new life.
Then, Hanmi fell for a puppy face but weird guy named Lee Gun. He had no friends at school but always topped the tests. Hanmi couldn't find a better way to make Gun remember her face and name, so she ran to her secret brother Jun Hyuk and begged him to fake a relationship with her to trigger Gun.
Unfortunately, everything didn't go according to her plan.
...
And since the siblings are so so popular at school, their fake relationship became the topic of every gossip and rumor.
========
Spoiler alert.
In the long run, Hanmi approached Gun. However, a handsome guy named Yeong Hwa got in the way. He is a psycho and willing to to everything to get Hanmi back to him, including destroying all the people she loves. Seong Hwa forced the choice on Hanmi. Will she choose Gun, Seong Hwa or her secret brother Jun Hyuk?
========
Overall, I like everything about this stories. Nice art, addictive plot, impressive character buildings and funny scenes at the same times. But there's one thing I don't like is that the story develops way too long, therefore it's too easy to forget some important details.
