...then you might like Claymore add

While every show is unique in their own way, Claymore and Blood+ have a myriad of similarities that will make a fan of one show, a fan of the other. For starters, both shows revolve around the concept of monsters that consume flesh and blood. They are painted as evil, but in both shows the main characters are also connected to these vicious monsters they seek to kill. The connection is genetics though it is applied differently for each show. Besides that main concept, both shows involve powerful heroines who wield swords. They develop in different paths, as one show is about remembering one’s identity while the other is vengeance. Both shows are hack and slash, though Claymore is by far more violent, bloody and intense. Dire injuries are inflicted regularly as many monsters and people are killed, while Blood+ takes the killing down a notch. Blood+ also has weaker moments when it comes to killing due to the dialogue, but I found myself able to look passed that due to the differences in the atmosphere of each show. If you are going from Blood+ to Claymore, a more aggressive and intense show awaits you, while the transition from Claymore to Blood+ can be a letdown only if you thrive on scenes filled with gore. The length of Blood+ is wonderful as Claymore is shorter and deviates from the manga at the end absolutely destroying the show for manga readers. Either way, if you are a fan of one show, you will most likely be a fan of the other as the action in both are very entertaining.
