Oshi no ko is fantastic. It will most definitely become an anime classic, and as I've said hundreds of times, it does a fantastic job telling stories and events about the Japanese entertainment industry, good or bad. This season extends on that as it focused on how mangakas feel when their project gets an adaptation, which yes while it is an honor, can be a huge headache. The direction and theme of that entire arc was excellent and the anime did a great job telling that story. However, I love aka akasaka and this was my same issue with the manga, the revenge plot does
...
feel forced. The first entire arc had me me on the edge of my seat, but once the playwright arc ended it falls a little flat. Unfortunately at this point and time it feels like they are forcing the revenge aspect of the show onto us and it doesn't feel very consistent. Great anime overall and i really believe we have a classic on our hands here. I just thought season 1 was slightly better. I give this a solid 8/10.

This is the best singular season of any "sports" anime I have ever watched, and the reason it's in captions is because this was more than a story about boxing. It was a beautiful depiction of a broken man, a man that was so successful but so shattered into pieces, it's a story of that man reinventing and reinserting himself into his past life with the help of amazingly written characters along the way. From his old companions from season 1 to newer characters that were introduced here. All of them played a huge significant part in Joe's story, and how he looks at the
...
world, which is all that you can ask for. This was more than a sports anime, this was a masterpiece that I would recommend for anyone to watch.
To me I would give this 10 right hooks out of 10.

Renai Flops flopped. To be totally fair to the anime, I think that after the twist happened, the anime improved a little bit, but it felt like such a drag to get to that point. The first 7 or 8 episodes were genuinely hard to watch as it was just a generic harem with no substance, and of course, you do learn eventually why all the girls were attracted to him in the first place, but even after their stories conclude they all seemed so one dimensional. While it's not all bad, as I do think the ending was pretty decent, and the stuff with
...
Ai does actually hit, but overall, this anime was not that good.
Art: 5
The art in this anime isn’t the best, but it’s not terrible. I do like the character designs a lot, as every character introduced had their own certain charm to them, but other than that there aren’t any positives. The music wasn’t anything special, and the animation was pretty bad I’m not gonna lie. Honestly, there just isn’t anything here to write home about.
Characters: 6
For starters, the main love interests are all pretty one-dimensional, and the Main Character isn’t anything special either, but I do think the last 3 or so episodes really did them a little bit of justice, I also think Ai’s background was done pretty well too.
Story: 4
So, while I don’t hate the ending, and in the grand scheme of things, I thought they ended it pretty okay. There are just way too many plot holes, and as I mentioned before they took way too long to get the actual plot moving, as for a majority of the anime it felt like I was literally watching nothing. There was genuinely no substance to it at all. I think that there was potential for this to be better, but the execution was not the best, Overall, I’ll give this 5 bananas out of 10.

Chainsaw Man. Probably the most hyped-up new anime that I have ever seen before. Now the question is, did it live up to the hype? For the most part, I have to say yes. I think Mappa did a fantastic job, and you can definitely tell that a lot of care was put into adapting the extremely popular manga. Now while I dont think this anime is perfect, it definitely does a lot of things right.
Art: 10
The art is absolutely fantastic, now I do understand that the use of CGI is a touchy subject, but I think the CGI was used to the anime’s
...
benefit and all the fight scenes were action-packed and super fluid. As for the music, there's not really a lot to say here… except that it was fire. When an anime gets twelve different endings that are really good in their own way. Not really much else you can ask for.
Characters: 9
For starters, I think Denji is written very well. Since his upbringing was the way it was, his actions throughout the anime make a lot of sense. Then you factor in the other really good characters this anime has to offer, like Aki, Power, and Himeno, and it gives you a good cast that meshes pretty well with each other.
Story: 7
To be totally honest while I dont think the plot is bad, I feel like the characters did a lot of the heaving lifting. I also can clearly see that they are building something and in future seasons this rating might become a 9 or a 10 but being totally fair not a lot happened throughout this season, and I think there was room for improvement. Overall, Chainsaw Man was an enjoyable experience and I’m going to give it 8 Pochita’s out of 10.

More than a married couple, but not lovers, is a show about the most unethical decision I've ever seen a school do, which puts two students in an apartment together so that they can get better at marriage. Now while I do understand how dumb this sound, its execution is actually pretty entertaining. The romance in the anime is genuinely interesting and enjoyable to watch and makes you really think about what way the protagonist will shift towards.
Art: 9
I have to say that for a romance the animation is pretty good, obviously, you shouldn’t expect any super high production, but it definitely is good
...
enough to support the amazing art design this anime brings. I love how the characters look, plus the colors really pop out at you. My only drawback is that the music for the most part is okay, but I will say the ending song is a bop.
Characters: 7
Alright… while I love Watanabe, and I am satisfied with Jirou as an MC, it is fair to say that some of their decisions don’t make the most sense, but because they go through some pretty decent development, and the writing is solid, they both end up becoming pretty great characters. The rest of the cast is also good, and while I dont personally like Shiori, there is nothing really wrong with her writing, and honestly, she does a solid job moving the plot forward.
Story: 8
While I do think the initial premise is a little dumb, the anime does a great job of keeping you entertained and interested in where all these characters will end up, or shall I say who they will end up with. I surprisingly would recommend this to those that enjoy romance animes, and overall, I’m going to give this a total of 8 points out of 10.

This Show Rocks! We have seen the trope of a school band done many times in the past, and it has proven to be something that if done right can be really good, and let me tell you, this show… was definitely done right. It has a lovable cast of characters that all mesh really well with each other, powered by some really good art direction. It has everything you need in an anime and will make you laugh out loud and even relate to it a little.
Art: 9
Now this anime might not be the prettiest, but it has some pretty smooth animation and
...
just fantastic art direction in general. There are times when they will just go from your good old animation to straight-up shots in the real world, and if you think that doesn’t sound like something you would like, trust me it all fits in really well, and might even get a laugh out of you. My only minor complaint is that while I think the music isn’t bad, for a show that has some focus on its music, the songs are okay.
Characters: 10
The characters are what make this anime. I mean I could probably write a whole page on Bocchi herself. She’s just a really shy girl, but she goes through some genuinely good growth throughout the show. It's really nice to watch as she slowly opens up her shell to the people around her. Also, how her bandmates support her is very realistic as they see her talents and want her to grow too. This all plus the fact that her bandmates and all of the other side characters in the show will keep you entertained as they are all lovable characters.
Story: 9
This anime’s story focuses on Bocchi's growth and her band. I think they did an absolutely terrific job at that and seeing Bocchi evolve slowly is such a joy to watch. I really have no complaints about what this anime gave me on an enjoyment level, I do however think that they could've done a little bit of a better job showing how her bandmates grew as well, but it's very minor. I would personally recommend this to anyone, and overall, I would give this anime 9 guitar picks out of 10.

The Forgers are back, and they brought along all their goofy shenanigans with them. Part one of Spy x Family was really good, and it quickly got me attached to the story and characters, and with part two you can pretty much expect the same solid execution. While I dont think the comedic bits hit as much as they did in part one. Seeing the relationship between the family members and how they go on with their daily lives is always going to be enjoyable to watch.
Art: 10
Continuing from part one, Spy x Family has some beautiful animation in part 2, and everyone's movements
...
feel so fluid in any scene. Then you factor in the fun characters' designs and good backgrounds, it's just so fun to look at. I haven’t even mentioned the music, which is also on par with the animation. I’ve got absolutely no complaints about the art.
Characters: 8
The main trio is still as solid as they were during season one, and they are very enjoyable to watch whenever they are on screen, however this season I dont really think any of them went through much development, which is a shame. The good news is, is that this anime continues to produce really good side characters as we got the introductions of Nightfall and Bond who were both great inclusions to the show.
Story: 8
I think part two had a really strong first couple of episodes, and a really strong last couple of episodes, as we saw some real plot progression, but during the middle, it did start to feel like it was becoming the Anya show, and while I dont think that's bad because Anya is adorable. It can definitely feel like it's getting a little repetitive. I think overall part 2 was good, but part one was definitely better. At the end of the day though, I would still recommend Spy x family to anyone of any age. I'll give this season 8 Stella’s out of 10.

The controversy queen has come back! In all seriousness Uzaki, Sakurai, and the gang have come back for a new season where the focus ended up being less on the comedy and more on the relationship between the two main characters. With that being said it’s still a rom-com, and unfortunately, while I think this season was paced really well and I enjoyed all the improvements their relationship went through, the comedy this season (when it was there) did not hit as much as season one, except the scenes with Uzakis Dad, as he was actually a joy to watch whenever he was on screen.
...
Art: 6
While I think the art style is very smooth, and for the most part I enjoy all the character designs, it is fair to say that it is a little basic, that is paired with decent animation makes it enjoyable enough. At the end of the day, it's a romance anime, and I’m not expecting every romance anime to have super smooth animation, so I think it does the job just fine. What I will say though is that I’m not a huge fan of the music, neither the opening nor the ending strike for me and throughout the show, they will play this one theme in the background that will get stuck in your head the worst way possible.
Characters: 8
I really like the cast of characters this anime has to offer. I love when Uzkais parents are on screen, and most of the side characters bring something to the anime too… minus Uzkai’s brother. As for the main duo, they did a great job at making Uzaki way less annoying than she was in season one, and they both do end up improving a lot as the season progressed. Their relationship actually ended up keeping me entertained throughout the whole show.
Story: 7
To be totally honest, I was so ready to give Uzaki an 8, as it really did impress me this season, but it does struggle at certain points in the story when the focus is not on the main duo. While I do enjoy the side cast of characters, they aren’t interesting enough to keep me entertained. However, regarding the overall plot, many strides were made with how the relationship between Sakurai and Uzaki evolved, and we are just one step closer to the climax. I wish the season ended a little better, but season 2 of Uzaki-Chan ended up being pretty enjoyable. I’ll give it 7 smug faces out of 10.

“Violence isn’t the answer.” Akiba Maid War is one of the craziest animes I have ever seen, and if you think you’ve already been shocked by what this anime brings to you, it will go one step further to surprise you even more. It's a pretty tragic story of maids, but not just any maids, straight-up yakuza maids. I almost overlooked this anime, but I’m glad I didn’t because it ended up being the surprise of the season for me and with its solid characters and wacky, but interesting premise. It's a show that I would definitely recommend to many.
Art: 7
The art style is
...
really grungy, but I think it personally fits the dark tone that this anime has, and with decently solid animation and music I think it all came together to form a pretty enjoyable watch.
Characters: 8
I think the characters are kinda what sells the anime to me. The contrast of personalities between the protagonist Nagomi and the antagonist Nagi ended up being a really good thing for the story. When they delve into the background of these characters, especially Ranko’s, where you can then see similarities between the ideals, she and Nagomi have compared to the ones Nagi has. It all makes for a really good connection between the said characters. Then you have all the side characters who were also pretty good in their own regard, it just makes up a solid cast in general, and if I didn’t find Nagomi to be annoying for like half the anime, it probably could've gotten a 9 or 10 for me here. Also, Ranko is best girl.
Story: 9
The premise of this anime is really insane, and I was really wondering if they could make a solid plot with it, and I am glad to say that they did. The anime ended up tying past experiences that some characters had really well with the tragic undertone the city of Akihabara had with its maid cafes. To be totally honest I was pretty hooked for like the last 4 episodes. It ended up telling a good tale expressing that “violence isn’t the answer.” Overall I give Akiba Maid War a solid 8 yakuza maids out of 10.

Mob Psycho 100, one of the more popular animes to come out in recent memory has come back for its final season, and to put it bluntly, it was a fantastic season to close out an equally fantastic series. This season of Mob brought back all the quirky but enjoyable characters that we have met along the way and closed all of their stories, meanwhile being paired with the somewhat wacky but excellent art and animation that this anime has to offer.
Art: 10
I remember back in season 1 when I didn’t like the art style… Oh, how my opinion changed. While I still think
...
it’s not for everyone, what I can’t mistake is the fact that this season of Mob has had some of the cleanest animations of the entire series. This is also paired with the fact that the music is so so so good. Mob Choir just doesn’t miss; whether it was the opening, the ending, or the music choices during fight scenes, it was just fire.
Characters: 9
My opinions on the characters barely changed from season 2. While they are a silly bunch, mob psycho genuinely has some of the best character development in all of anime, and without spoiling, how they closed dimples story was perfect, and I think any long-time fan of the anime will enjoy that arc specifically. The only gripe I have is that I feel like dont have that much information on Tsubomi, but it's all very minor, and the characters in this show are great… Also, Reigen is best boy.
Story: 9
We have seen Mob grow so much from season 1, and I think this anime's climax was done really well to show that. This show’s writing is so good, and it really gets the most out of the characters. Season 3’s plot did a really good job of expressing how much Mob has changed through all the events of the anime and I have almost no complaints. The only real problem I have is similar to past seasons. Some of the goofier episodes that don’t really move the plot forward can get a little boring, but I think the cast does a really good job at keeping you entertained through those parts. Overall, I give the final season of Mob Psycho 9 dimples out of 10.
