Seitokai no Ichizon has the same silly humor and a load of parodies (that aren't censored out :D) If you're looking for a nice, new, light-hearted anime, this is for you ^_^

If you liked NHK ni Youkoso! add

...then you might like ChäoS;HEAd add

The main character in Welcome to the N.H.K is also a hikikomori. While Takumi (in Chaos;HEad) is convinced every thing is a delusion, Satou is convinced everything is a conspiracy. Both are very good psychological anime that will hopefully twist your mind pleasantly.

If you liked Shakugan no Shana add

...then you might like Toradora! add

Two words: Kugimiya Rie :D On a more serious note, both are romantic comedies with similar main characters only Toradora offers a less fantasy and more slice of school life style. Well worth the watch.

If you liked Hyakko add

...then you might like Fairy Tail add

Fairy is also a lighthearted comedy (with some action) but probably the biggest similarity and perhaps the best point of both series is Hirano Aya (Lucy in Fairy Tail and Ayumi in Hyakko).

If you liked Shikabane Hime: Aka add

Shares the same dark feeling as Shikabane Hime and is just plain amazing for a new series.

If you liked KimiKiss Pure Rouge add

...then you might like Kimi ni Todoke add

Kimi ni Todoke is a very good story about innocent love between two high school students and although doesn't have to same feel as Kimi-kiss, it does share the quality so if you liked Kimi-kiss's romance, I'm sure you'll enjoy Kimi ni Todoke.

...then you might like Pandora Hearts add

Although Pandora Hearts is still ongoing (19 of 25), it has a similar dark feel to the story and also involves contracts between other beings. Instead of Mototsumitama it has monsters called Chains but otherwise just as awesome. Pandora Hearts has a more gothic feel to it.

...then you might like Persona: Trinity Soul add

Both share dark themes and have psychological aspects to them, except Death Note features a more sinister feel. The plot is very well thought out and leaves you anticipating the outcome of the next episode.

If you liked D.C.: Da Capo add

Da Capo is also a romance drama and has many charming aspects to it including interesting side characters and unrequited love. Although not as good as Clannad (in my opinion) both seasons are very much worth a watch!

Lucky Star also has comedic performances on the scale of Haruhi, although quite a different kind. Lucky Star is more laid back and less serious but has a similar style which will please fans of either series

Both are bad-ass anime with seemingly incompetent main characters that team up with a strong fighter. If you like intense fights and some minor romance you'll definitely like this
