If you followed the first season while it was airing then it's probably been a while since you watched it by the time this came out. If that's the case then you might enjoy a little refresher. For me, this really got me back into the innocent feel good mood that Kimi Todo puts you in and got me pretty excited about the 2nd season.
If you've just recently caught up with the first season however you could opt to skip this one unless you're a perfectionist and need to watch every single release or just a die
...
hard Kurumi fan, 'cause by watching this you basically get to chat with her for 22 minutes.
We also get to watch the new OP and ED credits which I very much enjoyed, so if you're an anime music person like me you might want to sneak a peek at this episode at least.
Lets enjoy our season 2!

Since both the series and episodes are very short in length, I will write a short review, fitting to the nature of this anime...
If you liked Queen's Blade and enjoy having b*ners, then watch this.
Also, if you just like having b*ners, then watch this.
If you are a woman that's considering watching this, I recommend growing a p*nis first so you can get b*ners as you watch this.

If this review in anyway shape or form has enticed feelings of resentment toward the anime community or humanity itself, please note that though this is a serious review, it is also an attempt at vulgar (but not without the consideration of open intellectual minds) humor, and should not be used as evidence of the increasingly degenerate anime community/mankind.
EDIT: -Warning- This anime may induce b*ners

Here we have a yuri, ecchi, slice of life comedy with a little bit of a warm and fuzzy feel to it. If you like those genres then you should definitely check this one out. Allow me to break it down for you...
STORY 7/10- Other than the story behind the main character's arrival we don't have much of a plot, which is fine given the anime's episodic nature which I personally find fitting for a comedy. There are numerous strong ecchi scenes which an outspoken population of anime viewers find distasteful, but I generally look at it as another form of
...
comedy since my typical reaction is to laugh when I see vulgar acts groping and molestation. It all depends on your taste.
ART 7/10- Everything was drawn well, characters were cute in my opinion. Nothing particularly amazing, but it was all in good taste.
SOUND 8/10- Voice acting was great, a lot of big hitters in the cast: Toyosaki Aki (Shugo Chara, K-ON!), Horie Yui (Higurashi,Umineko), Kugimiya Rie (Gintama, Saki), and though not as popular but one of my personal favorites Hirohashi Ryou (Kaleido Star, Bamboo Blade). I must say though, pretty much all these roles are in the shadow of the work that you may find in these fine actors' resumes. Great nonetheless though. I also greatly enjoyed the song for the ED credits... Yahoooo! : )
CHARACTERS 8/10- Our main character is someone you feel very sorry for, which is where this show draws some of it's comedy. Some people might think that that's a horrible thing, but it's not as cruel as it may have been suggested and I personally saw the humor in it. The supporting cast are all very like-able, distinctive characters including a chief who for some unexplained reason is a small child that has the maturity of a 30 year old, a perverted drunk, a lesbian couple and someone who collects money (or something like that. She wasn't in the spotlight much) all female and all moe-tastic!
ENJOYMENT 8/10- I was always excited about this one. It's funny, charming and sentimental (and slightly explicit). I'm really glad I picked this one up.
So if you're looking for a light-hearted ecchi daytime comedy (I like to watch scary stuff and tear-jerkers at night XD) definitely check this one out!

Do you like wash basin humor? I sure do! (For those of you that don't know, I'm referring to the anime comedy cliche where that big metal pan looking thing falls on someone's head) I'm not being sarcastic either. It gets me every time, and I personally think this anime could've used more of it but maybe I'm just weird ; )
I gave it a 7 overall and I want you to think of that as a good score. The 8, 9, and 10's belong to the big hitters out there, but I think some people might really enjoy this
...
one. Let me break it down for you and you can decide for yourself...
STORY 6/10- Let me start by saying that this anime had a GREAT concept and probably the most unique idea I've ever come across. I was fully captivated by the theme of "modern day" magic. Now where this category slips is in the actual content of the story. With such a GREAT concept, I would've liked to have experienced a more deep and serious unfolding of events. The story line in actuality is rather lighthearted which some people may actually enjoy more, though in my opinion was in danger of being almost boring. Really depends on your tastes, the "6" being my sole opinion. Great last couple episodes though.
ART 8/10- I give the OP credits a 10/10, absolutely amazing. The characters were drawn well, though I'd say the art throughout the anime was somewhat simple not necessarily in a bad way. The magic effects were great, especially that "digital" looking effect. The fight scenes were pretty well animated, but I don't think it can compete with all the other great fight scene anime out there.
SOUND 8/10- Once again I give the OP credits a 10/10. In fact, lets just say that the OP credits of this anime is by far one of it's greatest assets (and I don't mean to downplay the other aspects of this anime at all). The voice acting was great, all voices very fitting to their characters (my favorite being Kaho).
CHARACTER 7/10- The character design was good, if not rather typical. Our heroine was quite charming, perhaps a little simple minded (maybe even kinda dumb) but that's all part of her charm. Then you've got your well mannered tsundere, your sensei, and your quiet friend that's really intelligent (Kaho! I'm a sucker for freckles XD) The bad guys were somewhat boring in my opinion but they played their part.
ENJOYMENT 7/10- I always look forward to something unique, as that can be somewhat rare nowadays. It was easy to stick this one through to the end.
If you're looking for something unique, then check this one out. I recommend it!

It's been a long six months, and I must say that this anime was one of the shows I most looked forward to every week through spring and summer. I have a lot of good things to say about this anime so lets get started!
STORY 7/10- The best way to define the story is "not bad". It's a fairly interesting story about friendship and vengeance, and had it's fair share of comedy and touchy moments which are the kind of things I personally like in an anime. Even though I watched the show from the first day of broadcast (which I mentioned
...
before was roughly six months ago) it didn't seem like that long ago that I started. I believe the sole reason to be the fact that 95% of the story took place in one geographical area. I wouldn't say this is good or bad, but definitely interesting.
ART 10/10- Amazing. State of the art animation, taken to it's full potential. The most notable example would be right when the opening credits start after the preview where there's a beautiful aerial shot of the church with a glaring sun in the background. Absolutely breathtaking.
SOUND 11/10- That's right... 11 (for the sake of the review since I can't actually select the number 11 for this category) I speak mostly for the music. Great songs for the OP/ED credits. What gives this category an 11 is the amazing orchestral background music throughout the anime and the beautiful insert in the end. The sound fx were great, very fitting with all the magic and the like going on.
CHARACTER 8/10- The characters were very like-able, though we never really find out too much about them save for the main character and one other character. Personally I thought they were all "cool", even the bad guy was pretty "cool" and their powers were "cool". One interesting thing to note was that there weren't any important female characters. Just a cute trio of nuns we see from time to time and a mermaid. As a guy I do enjoy having cute and attractive girl characters play a role in the main plot, but I will give this anime a plus for being enjoyable without me even actually noticing the lack of a strong female character. (I noticed only after finishing the anime, in which I read a few explicit comments from the other reviews)
ENJOYMENT 9/10- I truly truly enjoyed this anime. Very pleasing to the eyes and ears, touchy moments and a "not bad" story. As I said before I looked forward to it every week and I also look forward to a second season.
Overall I give it a 9, deducting 1 point for the lack of that masterpiece story-line. For those who haven't watched it and those who may have only watched 1 or 2 episodes, I will admit that it takes a little while to "get good". Hang in there and you won't regret it : )

I happened to have caught the first episode of this anime on it's air date and I stuck it through all the way to the end. I must say that I am very pleased as upon finishing this anime I am left with that "epic journey" feeling. Well lets get to it...
STORY 6/10 - It was interesting, but I suppose I wouldn't say that it's breathtakingly captivating. Sometimes there will be discussions about the worlds fictional economy and to the less sophisticated the dialogue might go in one ear and out the other. Towards the middle you might feel the plot
...
begins to go into tangents but it does eventually tie together. All in all, it had it's "awesome" moments and it's "touchy" moments, and as for the ending... it was good.
ART 8/10 - I'm personally not that nit-picky about this kind of stuff, but it looked good to me. Lots of awesome explosions, nice backgrounds, action scenes and the characters were drawn well (particularly the transsexuals who definitely looked like transsexuals)
SOUND 7/10 - I personally can't remember any of the background music and I don't think there were any notable inserts which says enough for itself. The SFX were up to date and what they should be, sounded great. I give it a 7 cause I enjoyed the opening and ending credits which to me can sometimes make or break an anime if it's borderline.
CHARACTER 8/10 - Main character is very like-able, cute but not drenched in "moe" which is a plus in my opinion. A lot of the other notable characters are cute little girls as well. What I found the most interesting was the presence of a couple transsexuals in the main cast that played a big role in the story. They fit their roles really well, ironically playing motherly roles with those touchy family like bonds as well as having their own sense of transsexual humor. They may be one of the more memorable assets to this anime.
ENJOYMENT 7/10 - Simply put, I enjoyed it : ). I wasn't tossing and turning in bed waiting for the new episodes to come out, but I didn't skip a beat to watch them when they did. I probably won't watch it again but I'm glad I watched it.
For those who haven't watched it I would give it 3-4 episodes before you decide you don't like it. If you like animes where the main character can seemingly do anything then you should check this one out.

I would like to focus mainly on the "Endless Eight" arc in hopes to provide an antidote for the overwhelming negative response this series has encountered by the community, as I myself genuinely enjoyed these episodes. I'm not saying everyone should like this story arc, and I'm definitely not saying it's a crime to hate it.
Though each of these episodes are physically the same, they are each unique in their own way with the use of subtle (but definitely noticeable) differences. I apologize for my lack of specifics, however I'm sure you understand why it would be difficult to remember which episode was
...
which XD...
One episode I found rather eerie and almost scary, mainly the way the deja vu was depicted with the sudden shift to gray colors and muffled sound.
One episode made me laugh despite knowing the plot practically word for word, due to the humorous aspects of each persons actions being noticeably more defined.
The last episode of the arc I found to be appropriately "Melancholic" especially with a beautiful scene with the group sitting in the rain. I enjoyed this episode enough to watch it twice in row within 45 minutes. (though admittedly this was perhaps a subconscious attempt to "get what I can" out of this long story arc or "make it worth it" haha) I did with all honesty enjoy the way it ended, though I can't explain why without giving too much away.
Each of these episodes did have one interesting thing in common (besides almost everything)- during the last few minutes of each episode, my heart started racing... and this feeling increased with each episode. You may or may not appreciate that feeling, but I must say that even some of the other anime that I wholeheartedly enjoy don't get me going like that.
The point here is that the creators (how I see it) made a bold move in taking a plot line and repeating it with each episode only to be distinguished by unique subtleties brought into being by their elite (in my opinion) artistic prowess. They have made a dent in this industry with a stunt that may never be repeated (some of you are like "thank god" haha) This at the least must be respected undeniably.
All that being said, I encourage those who haven't seen this series to witness this piece of history and not be turned away from all the bad noise out there.
