As a long time Studio Ghibli fan, I really appreciate how they made the story of Princess Kaguya. I knew the story beforehand and after seeing how different Ghibli's animation was in this movie I was automatically curious, as well as how people weren't a fan of this sudden change.

The story was written and showed visually in a fantastic manor. Leading into art, I appreciated how they animated the movie so differently from their previous films, to match the era of the origin of Princess Kaguya, dated somewhere in the late 1500s. The sound, of course, consisted of traditional Japanese music - which was clear ... - as well as the voice acting and how well they matched the characters they played. The characters themselves were very realistic to how they would feel in the time, starting with Kaguya being a young girl wanting to be herself without being told what to do and ending with how her parents reacted to the end of the story, which I won't spoil, but will definitely hit your emotions.

My overall enjoyment of the film was highly positive. The folktale was expressed in such a way where you feel for the character and are intrigued by the story and its characters. Personally, I got a new love for the tale, despite knowing it more or less before I watched the film. The way the entire film was produced, I understood and felt more for the story now and highly recommend watching it for yourself!

I found Black Bullet very enjoyable. I enjoyed the story and thought it was very different from other anime's I've seen. I felt that the art and visuals were really pleasing to the eyes. Very bright but also dark enough to fit the story. I really like the music and opening/ending. fripside does a very good job with music they use for the anime's they're in. Along with Yanagi Nagim her voice fits dark shows and light shows. It worked well with the darkness of the show. Rentarou as a character I really enjoyed. Though the younger girls were somewhat typical for this type of ... anime. I enjoyed the character development with Kisara though. One of the things I liked most is that there wasn't an overpowering amount of fanservice. I feel like if there was more I wouldn't have like the show as much. I like the show more then other people probably would have but the fight scenes were great to me, and I loved the main characters and the story behind the girls. I recommend this for sure tor anyone who likes action shows.

This was pretty original and because I didn't spoil anything for myself, I was so surprised when I watched it. I thought the story was really nice and sweet. I feel it could have been longer, though I am happy with what I got xD

I'll admit, I was skeptical a little when I first found the movie out, then I looked into it a little more, and I figured I would enjoy it a little more then I first thought. And my goodness was I happy that I watched it. I didn't spoil anything for myself at all, which I accidentally have a habit of doing, so everything that happened was a total surprise to me. The story was fabulous and I found totally original, I've never seen this kind of movie before. The music and sounds were great, the English dub was also fabulous, which I find uncommon ... lol. This movie was so fabulous and I completely recommend it to everyone!~
