To be honest, it's been about the sixth or seventh time that I've re-watched this series. It's almost become a tradition of sorts to just re-watch over again (I'm usually not one to go and re-watch many anime series over, because I don't feel like it). I'm also not one who enjoys shoujo that much, but this series has always stuck with me. Sure sometimes the art isn't so great, or the characters aren't quite developed, but I still love this anime, from the bottom of my heart.
It's your typical shoujo, where Kotoko falls in love with Naoki, someone who's far out of her
...
league. Though through her perseverance, she gets what she wants, which no one should deny her of.
To sum it up, it's cute and funny at times, and even brings me to tears every time I watch it. I'm still saddened by the death of the author of the manga this anime was adapted from. The reason I gave it a 10 is obvious, because I love it. However, I always wished there was a second season, because the ending just wasn't enough (plus there were plans for this series to get another season, but the author died, so that never happened).
This was a scatterbrained review, but I just tried putting into words what I get from this series whenever I re-watch it.
