Both manga have similar art styles and two main girls whom are a bit alike. (although the main female in Honey seems a bit less.. you know.) They are both school romance stories with a bit of comedy and a good amount of interesting situations.

These series are both: -Made by the same studio and, therefore, have the same art and animation style. -Harem (anti-ecchi) with cute, loveable characters. -Based around tragedy. -Fond in including characters shrouded with mystery.

Both protagonists find themselves falling in love with someone that everyone wants to be with. (Unpopular girl to popular boy scenario)

If you liked Angel Beats! add

...then you might like Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. add

Although Angel Beats! includes action while AnoHana does not, both romance plots involve the characters falling in love despite the rough circumstances they're in.
