Both are very short anime specials made to promote their manga. The artwork is very pretty in both of them. They are both romance stories and from the point of view of the female lead! If you only have a couple of minutes time, want to watch something quick and get a small insight of some shoujo manga these are pretty much perfect for you! and I'm sure if you liked one you'll like the other as well :)

Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji

Well I think mostly the male characters show some similarities. These guys all have this "gentle and loveable" image on the outside with fake smiles but can be total teasers to the female lead! I think Kyoko from Skip Beat is a bit more "agressive" than Erika from Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji. Still both are lovely and kind of unique shown female main characters! Both animes have great comedy, romance and shoujo elements. And I'm pretty sure that if you loved one you'll like the other as well!

Similar art and both stories involve three young girls who work at an inn. In Mitsuwano they study to become Maikos and in Hanasaku Iroha they have work for different reasons and in different positions. Each group of girls is similar to the other one. Just that the girls of Mitsuwano are close from the very beginning and in Hanasku Iroha they become closer over time. Just finished watching Mitsuwano and it made me remember Hanasku Iroha right away. The whole atmosphere of both series is really similar. I'm pretty sure if you enjoyed one of the shows you'll also like the other one! :)

Haikyuu!!

They are both sports animes. Ookiku Furikabutte (Oofuri) is about baseball and Haikyuu!! is about volleyball. Shouyou from Haikyuu reminds me a bit of Mihashi from Oofuri. They both trained a lot to get better and they also both have a huge handicap. for Shou it's his small height and for Mihashi his low self-esteem. Still these boys are eager to win for sure and refuse to give up! Only have watched the first aired episode of Haikyuu but I can already feel that I will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed watching Oofuri. And I think it's totally worth checking out both if you like sports anime and if you like adorable dorks with their own abilities!
