MINOR SPOILER WARNINGS
Mob Psycho 100 is one of those shows that is just so unique - it actually makes you want to forget it all just to experience it again with fresh eyes. There's not a lot of anime series that can deliver these heartfelt moments while being extremely funny, action packed, and also having the most interesting art style of every season it's in. This show is a literal experience that we probably won't be able to achieve again for another decade.
Its third, and most likely final season, achieves what its first and second season does like it never even left. With the entire

crew still having the strong and comfy chemistry that we've grown to love.
ANIMATION: (10/10)
The animation of Mob Psycho 100 is an eye melting spectacle. It's almost as if this show is Bones' passion project. With them confirming an episode with 20,000 frames and the whole studio finishing the production of the entire season months before airing. Each episode almost always has an amazing guest or a veteran Bones animator ready to show off their skills.
Even with the first few episodes of the season, they managed to make Reigen, Mob, and now Serizawa's smaller psychic job episodes have beautiful eye-catching animation. Even down to the character acting. They were able to make characters just talking or interacting with each other extremely memorable. From Tsubomi just sneezing or Tome just speaking; They managed to make their movements captivating and filled with personality.
Another thing that impresses me about this show is how it could shift its tone so naturally. The show can go from light hearted and bright colors to dim and actually chilling visuals from pure red backgrounds to intense and uncomfortable close ups. This show while being so funny and crazy could actually go into some pretty horrific and creepy atmospheres, that could actually make your skin crawl with little to no gore or cheap jump scares at all. It just shows the artistic talent behind the show and how lucky we are to have a studio like BONES working on it!
Thanks to ONE's vague writing, the show can interpret the events taking place in a new light that, in my opinion, surpasses the manga by adding more animation and details to the story. The art style, despite not looking aesthetically pleasing to some people, actually makes it stand out from all the anime series that look exactly the same airing with it. With its simplistic art style BONES could go insanely crazy with the animation and experiment with anime as an artform. There's just a special and almost comfy charm to the artwork of this series, it's an extremely unique show and has a passionate team working on it.
OST: (9/10)
This show’s soundtrack basically fits with the vibe that the show is trying to achieve perfectly. Whether it’s the playful flutes and percussion of Reigen’s hilarious schemes or the haunting and creepy soundscapes of the Broccoli arc; The show knows how to use its soundtrack to add to the atmosphere of each episode. While most of the music on the soundtrack is familiar to past seasons - Kenji Kawai added new tracks to the already amazing soundtrack. Tracks that in my opinion elevate the scenes to the max. Delivering comfiness and relaxing vibes or beautiful yet sad sounding atmospheric tracks that could make your heart wrench. Although most of the tracks may not have a lot of replay value, all of the music fits perfectly in each scene it's accompanied with.
CHARACTERS: (10/10)
Despite having some of the best sakuga animation in the industry and some of the most memorable music (like Mob’s 100% Theme) the show’s strongest suit is in its characters. Mob Psycho 100 has some of the greatest character writing you'll ever experience. So many of the characters develop so much yet so naturally it’s kind of jarring to see how they were in season 1. From a conman like Reigen to even an evil comic relief green blob spirit - Seeing what all these characters become because of Mob is actually insanely beautiful. And watching how Mob grows up and becomes the kind of person he’s becoming is actually the best part about this series to me. This show’s cast is definitely one of the best and will be a cast I will miss greatly once this series is over.
PLOT: (9/10)
This season’s story is pretty incredible and has a similar format with its episodes to the past 2 seasons - In which the show has a slow and almost slice of life feeling to it until it slowly gets more serious and darker the more episodes come out. While having probably my favorite arc of the entire series there is a filler episode that, while still being enjoyable, didn't grip me as much as the other episodes. Although, if you’re a fan of the past 2 seasons, the arc that this season gets into is one of the best and will not disappoint.
OVERALL: (9.5/10)
If you’re looking for something lighthearted and fun this show is the perfect one. It has some of the best animation in the industry and has some of the most lovable and memorable characters you’ll ever meet.
