Mixed Feelings

White Album has a total of 2 seasons and should not be confused with White Album 2.

There are some really good characters in this anime, but there are also too many characters. The anime goes slowly, but also at a break neck speed at the same time. You get introduced to a lot of people and it's hard to keep track of everything going on. The 2 main idols are the best part of the series for sure. Everything past that is annoying filler. You will feel lost watching this anime.

The first season is really hard to get through. ...

Violet Evergarden is an amazing TV show. And if you haven't watched it, you should. It certainly necessary for understanding anything happening in this movie. As for this movie, it completely misses the mark. A lot of the movie spends time re-telling a lot of thing we have already seen. And the direction it goes with the romance is a bit strange. The best part of movie is when Violet is spending time writing letters for a sick kid in a hospital. This is Violet, at her best. There are emotional moments in this movie.

Preliminary (171/? chp)
Review based on reading Arc 5 and Arc 6 of the web novels (which is suggested after watching season 1 and 2 of the anime.)

Re: Zero is quite possibly my favorite anime right now. For a simple premise, of Returning by Death, it really has deep character growth and a massive world to explore. You essentially read about a boy, who doesn't believe in his own self worth, gain self confidence over time. There are huge obstacles to over come, and really creative solutions to huge problems. You will fall in love with certain characters, and you will begin to understand ...

The Twelve Kingdoms is a mixed bag of things that are really good and things that are really bad. One thing about the twelve Kingdoms that is really strong, especially when the story gets going, is the deep lore and politics. I think these are places where the series really shines. And characters can be deep and everyone has different motives. But despite those things, I can also make a huge list of problems with this show. The episode recaps and the loose ends at the end of this series are probably the biggest complaint I could have. But ...

Demon Slayer is one of the most hyped anime out there. And I'm guessing it's mostly because of it's visual style and artwork. But underneath all of that, there isn't anything that special.

The first couple of arcs were boring. I actually stopped watching the anime for a couple of months halfway through because I lost all interest. I forced myself to finish it later.

Here are some things that I liked:

+The sister sometimes does funny things.
+The insect master is waifu material;
+The arc in the forest, where he fights that family is pretty good actually, but almost near the end of the show.

The best way to go into this is to view Akane Minagawa as the main character. The story takes place from Hanabi Yasuraoka's prospective, but it's better to view her as a vehicle for telling the story of Akane. This is probably a strange way too look at this anime, but I think if you view it this way, the anime becomes better.

Even with that said, don't expect to walk away from this with warm feelings or anything. This anime isn't intended to make you feel good. It's uncomfortable to watch and there's no real person you can really root for, because ...

I have read a lot of Visual Novels, and watching this anime is like reading a VN. There are 4 girls, and the main character will eventually "get together" with each one. Throughout the episodes there is story elements that are important to the overall ark, and story elements that just pertain to a certain girl's route. Note, that getting together with your sister is considered the main route, or true route as the show ends with that.

The 4 girls can be summarized as this:

Rich girl
Temple girl (rich sister's poor abandoned sister)

Childhood friend (old love interest)
Sister

"Slip, Slip, Slip, Slip, Slip, Slip, Slip............."

Are you enjoying this review yet? If not, then you won't like this anime!!!!!!!!! O:

The main hero is killed by god, by accident, as a reward he is transported into another world where he can use his smart phone. He also has every magical ability in the world. And his main way to defeat enemies is to make them slip. Yes, the show gets that lazy. There's really no reason to watch it.

If you want to watch an isekai, I suggest Re: Zero or Konosuba or The Rising of the Shield Hero ...

I got into this anime because I play Shadowverse. Anne, Mysterian Imperatrix and Grea, Scorching Fury are cards that I used in my Shadowverse deck. The strategy of the deck is to banish it / draw it until you have 5 cards left. Anne will give you Rending Blast and Grea will give you Resentful Blaze. These cards can win you the game.

The cards are based on some lore that really isn't explored in this show. Actually nothing really happens in this show at all. So, the lore they built for the cards in Shadowverse is actually deeper than ...

It's a highly etchi show (It's borderline from being hentai almost.) The main character just wants to lose his V card. He's surrounded by women who seem willing, but he's never able to pull it off. It's a show that teases, but never pays off.

Keep in mind I only watched the first season, but I find it unlikely I will continue to watch this show. The characters don't really have any depth. The main girl takes off her clothes and sleeps next to the main guy to motivate him to do better at his job (sleep next to, ...
