The "spiritual" successor to Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san!

Alright, so explaining this show is pretty easy. It's basically Senko-san, but the main character is Kobayashi from Dragon Maid. That said, in virtually every aspect the show is closer to Senko-san.

The setup is the same as Senko-san, overworked MC befriends a cute spirit loli who helps out and makes their lives better.

No stress, very little plot.
Just chill vibes and a cute aesthetic.

If you enjoy moe SOL (especially Senko-san), you'll probably get a surprising amount of enjoyment here.

Alright, so basically snake girl tries to murder goth girl, fails miserably and gets thrashed by goth girl (in some of the most gruesome and bloody ways possible). Then they live a normal life past that.

That's the main gag, so if you're not interested yet, you can leave now.

This anime has pretty poor reviews on MAL, so I'm writing this to give the manga a little more credit.

First I'll mention the characters because I think they main duo work really well together for comedic relief.

You've got Jashin-chan who is overall a dick and her cruelty towards others often gets her murdered ... by Yurine. She's also a coward who will pin the blame on anyone else in the last moment, but the tactic never works. Probably some of the funniest shit I've seen are her facial expressions when she realizes she's about to get murdered by Yurine.

Next you've got Yurine. Plays the straightman to all of Jashin's fuckery and is surprisingly strong, even without her various oversized murder weapons. The best part about her is probably how kind and reasonable she is to everyone except Jashin, who she cuts open for doing anything that mildly annoys her. Did I mention she's a bit sadistic?

Aside from the main duo, the manga features a mildly funny sidecast, 4th wall breaks, pop-culture references and a lot of gore for a comedy SOL, which is part of what the series is known for.

All in all, I think it's worth a read if any of this sounds funny to you. Also, feel free to check out the anime which has 2 seasons and another in the works. Many of the episodes are taken 1:1 from the manga, so you'll likely enjoy both if you enjoy one.

At the time of writing there's no synopsis so I'll whip one up.
"Cute girls who are kinda gay visit various open air baths".

Now the fact that you're reading this probably means you're in the right place. I'm not gonna pretend this manga is revolutionary, but the art is cute, the characters are likeable and if you needed another dose of SOL Yuri, you found it.

To finish up, I'll mention that the yuri in this series isn't as "pronounced" as some others. It's more than say New Game, so I wouldn't say there are just undertones, but if you were looking for something like Sakura Trick, ... it falls a bit short (as of Chapter 31, things could pick up).

TL;DR If you came this far looking for yuri, you'll probably enjoy it and I'd say this manga is slightly above average.
