Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai is a story about a fallen angel, Lucifer, who wants to overthrow God and also take over hell on the way (the reason is explained in episode 12).
No idea what genres this could be other than fantasy and ecchi, if you're not interested in those, don't watch.
Story: 6
The story works, I guess, but it wasn't outstanding in any way; didn't see any plotholes or anything, but it is far from unique. (I mean, demons being the good guys, fighting a corrupt God, come on, man.)
Art: 3
At least there was animation, other than that, it might as well have been the
...
same animation as a hentai. (This sort of thing isn't usually the fault of the studio, so I'm not blaming them, just pointing this fact out.)
Good facial expressions, though.
Sound: 6
Nothing good really to say about the voice acting other than at least the characters were distinct.
The music however, was great, especially the ED, look it up at least if you don't watch the anime. (It sounds like 80's-90's rock so if you hate that genre, go ahead and skip it.)
Character: 5
Forcefully distinct, but poorly executed. Each character is different, which is nice, but they are all very one-sided and have no depth whatsoever, aside from the fact that the MC is a tsundere, which is so easy to write and so cliché that it's almost not worth mentioning.
Enjoyment: 7
I really liked the music.
Overall: 4
Probably don't watch unless you're running out of ecchi to watch or want to experience a tsundere protagonist.

Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-San, a story of a stressed office worker and his Fox Demigod babysitter. It's a slice of life - no romance involved - where the main characters have more of a grandmother-grandson relationship.
Story: 8
The story consists of a series of situations in which Kuroto is de-stressed by Senko. Two scenarios are presented each episode, with the exception being the beach episode, which I think has the largest impact on the story aside from the finale.
Art: 6
Fair art, I saw nearly no background characters, which is fine, but it usually makes the world seem a little dead.
...
In this case however, it made it feel more like those moments were between Senko and Kuroto.
Sound: 7
OP is upbeat and fits the playful/cheerful attitude of the show. Other than that, nothing unusual.
Character: 7
Nobody outstanding, other than the lack of romance, which while I like romance, it's nice to not have every now and again.
Also the super relatable, super-stressed MC, Nakano Kuroto is an unusual MC, but it works here (I mean yeah, the whole point is that he's stressed.)
Enjoyment: 8
A nice little slice of life, a lack of serious story but very wholesome. If you're looking for story you won't really find it here. I enjoyed it because I enjoy the wholesome. :D
Overall: 7
Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san is about a stressed office worker and his Fox Demigod babysitter. There are feels involved, but no serious story, it's a nice in and out, no strings attached. I'd recommend, but only to those who are willing to not get invested in the story.

Kotoura-san was an anime I didn't expect to like, but here we are, giving it a 9/10.
The story was actually really good for a simple slice-of-life with a little bit of
...
supernatural. The supernatural element was actually used quite a bit in different
situations, and it didn't get repetitive. All loose ends got tied up at the end, leaving
a pretty much watertight story. And the characters were deep enough to not bore
anyone.
The art was good, so was the sound. I can't say much because I don't understand
these criteria.
The characters were, as I said above, deep enough not to bore anyone, as well as
provide a bunch of comic relief.
I personally didn't enjoy this too much because of my personal tastes, but it was a
good story nonetheless.
If you are seriously running out of stories to watch, give this a try, it's not bad and
there are worse things out there.
(I am not writing a very good review here, am I? I guess I just don't have that
much to say...)

"How not to summon a demon lord." Well, ok, that's not too long of a title
for an isekai anime. Good job there. I want to start off by saying that
this is a harem ending that doesn't end with hard feelings of leaving one
...
or more girls out. It doesn't feel too forced (a lot of the girls are idiots
anyway) so the resolution felt well-done.
The story is pretty generic, similar enough to KonoSuba but with the
isekaification (method of transportation to the world) similar to that of No
Game No Life minus the formal invitation. However, the protagonist is
insanely powerful, far outranking most people in the world, literally able
to beat anybody else without help.
I really liked this story because it ends on a happy ending with no loose ends
that I can remember. I don't really watch shows for the drama, I much
prefer a happy story with a calm resolution. This show fits that perfectly.
(hold up, I'm gonna go raise the "Enjoyment" number from 9 to 10...)
The art and sound were yet again, hard to judge, but nothing terrible
happened so here are two 8s.
The main girls - in this case, the two of them - are a light tsundere and a
bakadere. Not a bad combo, each of them has a personal problem that
the protagonist, Diablo, has to deal with. Funnily enough, each problem
escalates into a world-threatening situation.
The character tropes aren't too unique, but I love that the protagonist,
Diablo, tries to maintain his social interaction ability by imitating his ideal,
"Diablo" self from the time he spent gaming.
I really enjoyed this show for reasons stated above, it is a lighthearted fun
story where the characters actions have no massive consequences. If
you don't enjoy short stuff like this, then be my guest and find the back
button on your browser. I enjoyed it, so if you for some reason have
checked my profile and like the anime I have rated highly, then try this
one out!
Fun fact: "Diablo" means "Devil" in Spanish.

Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut is the first mecha anime I've watched. I usually
watch isekai and slice-of-life so the rating may be too generous.
However, I'm not lying when I say I really enjoyed watching this.
...
This is the story of a guy who has been generally shunned by the world
accidentally fall through the (occupied) bathhouse roof of an all-girls
mech pilot academy and immediately gets enrolled. Oh yeah, and he's
the one who uprooted the previous empire five years ago.
This guy was actually shunned (outlawed, actually, but it's not that serious,
so we'll just give him a fine and be off with it) for being part of the
previous royal family, but that doesn't get explained until the final
episode.
I don't know how exactly to rate the story because different genres have
their own nuances and whatnot, but I'm trying not to compare this to say,
Oregairu's storyline and call it a day. Instead, I'm just gonna say that I
think the storyline had enough plot twists to where I think that it was at
least thought-out.
I can't really rate the art and sound for this well, but the animation for the
mechs was a lot smoother than what I'm used to, good job there, 2016!
The characters seemed pretty normal for a harem anime. You have your
childhood friend, your little sister, your tsundere, your straightforward
finaceé, and the girl who originally hated you. Alright, everybody's here!
Move on with the story!
Again, this is my first mecha anime so of course this review might be a lttle
generous. But anyway, here is a 9/10 for "Hey I really liked this! Now I
want to buy all the novels!"
This review isn't supposed to be too serious, I can't review shows properly
until I've seen a few on the same thing. However, if you want to watch a
12-episode mecha harem anime with one or two feels, go right ahead!

The Quintessential Quintuplets is the best harem anime I've seen thus far. End of story. It has a story that does not feel forced, (other than the extremely unlikely case of all five sisters falling in love with the same guy, but what the heck), It has actual characters with personality beyond just Tsundere or Deredere, and the main character, beyond the initial denseness, is actually not an idiot.
The idea of the protagonist being the smart one is unusual, but it works really well here.
Story:
...
Great, loved it, not forced at all, unlike most other romance anime I've seen. EXCITED for season 2 (coming out tomorrow as of when I'm writing this)
Art: Not bad by any means, there IS one scene where a towel changes color but seriously, that's just a production error, nothing big. (It was quite hilarious watching over that clip and just seeing a white towel suddenly go dark blue, then in half a second go back to white)
(Episode 3 at 10:50, by the way)
Sound: Layering a bunch of voices is hard, right? Idk, I'm giving it an 8 just to be safe.
Character: Making a bunch of characters for a harem anime is hard, but making a bunch of characters for a good harem anime is harder. They did get a bit of a cheat making the five of them twins, so only one main backstory, but seriously, they all have their own goals and ideals in life that they sacrifice things for or the other way around.
Also they are all stupid, really funny there (though that's the point of the anime).
And finally, they are all different levels of Tsundere. The difference in reaction is amazing to look at.
Fun background characters don't usually exist (sometimes they're excluded completely - I'm looking at you, Bakemonogatari and Sakura Trick) but there are characters who are used just once in this anime, and I'm happy that those scenes are utilized because it adds life and flavor to the world, instead of just ignoring them altogether.
Enjoyment: Loved it. I love romance anime and harem anime is better. (when pulled off right, like, bad romance anime just hurts) I'm really happy I found this one, I'm gonna go try to buy the manga within two weeks (of when I write this review) and this will probably stay a favorite of mine for a long time.
In the end, I'd recommend watching this primarily if you're a fan of romance anime. yes, this is a harem anime, but it's done well enough to where it doesn't hurt like most other ones. If you are fine with romance but not sure if you'll like this one, watch just the first two to four episodes and see if you like it; the progression
slows a little after that.

At the time of writing this, it has been about a month since I watched the show, so I'm definitely forgetting some parts.
Story: The story is nothing outstanding, it feels like an offshoot of Toradora! with your love triangle, helpless lead girl, and the MC not realizing that the main girl likes him until the end. Nothing new, but I like it so...
...
Art: The inclusion of paintings is cool, they are clearly painted for this show (I mean, one of the paintings has all of the Characters in it) so SOMEONE had to spend time doing that.
Sound: Nothing too special, nothing done wrong as far as I could see (hear)
Character: Though I doubt this would actually happen irl, I do like the idea of Sakura hall being the dorm for problem students. This setting allows for more extreme character quirks, such as a shut-in and a playboy (Still curious how legal that part is) The side relationship between the two third-years was a nice addition as well.
Enjoyment: Though I'm sure that at some points I was struggling to enjoy it because of character decisions, this is one of my favorite anime so I give it an obligatory 10. (Would've given it an 8 or 9 were it not one of my favorites for some reason)
While this story is altogether too impossible to happen, I found it enjoyable nonetheless. I'd recommend watching this, maybe two or three episodes a day if you are not as serious of a viewer as I am, for example. (3ep/day gives you 8 days)

Sakura Trick is a lesbian romance with about 0 male characters. The only males of note are the girls' fathers, both of which get about 6 seconds of screen time combined. Not saying that's bad, just the school setting wasn't as flushed-out as I would think ideal.
That aside, it's a nice, short romance that doesn't seem to share as many tropes as other romance anime I've watched. However Sakura Trick lacks depth. In the first episode, the theme of cherry blossom trees (that is hardly revisited) is set and the girls kiss.
...
The first three episodes have a strong sense of progression, but that weakens as the show progresses. It isn't as dried-out as many other anime are, but slowing down the progression definitely wouldn't hurt at all, maybe delaying the first kiss to episode four or something like that.
The art was great! A mix of chibi scenes here and there really help the tone that the anime is going for. The rest of the normal scenes are also well-animated. And though greying out the background characters isn't normal, I think it fits the style.
Nothing to complain about the audio, the voice acting was great and the music fit the anime well!
The Characters weren't simple-minded, like a lot of other anime end up doing, but they weren't very deep. There are two romantic relationships going on at the same time and we are shown glimpses of both throughout the show, but again, little progress is made on either. All we're shown are the conflicts themselves, and that the conflict for one couple is removed at the end (A good ending, but we aren't given closure on the other)
Since this is my opinion section, I'm not going to say much and just say, "Hey, it was something different that what I usually watch, so of course I'm gonna rate it higher!"
I have a good memory, so I doubt I'll forget this, but I do think that it is a forgettable anime, short as it is. It's not a gem amidst dust, it's more of a cool-shaped stick you found when you were a kid.
Overall, I enjoyed it, and I think this is a little bit underrated for a romance anime, but to each his/her own and have a good day!

A story of a high-school Otaku who dreams of making a dating sim. It's pretty good, honestly, I don't really know what could be done better within this genre about young artists/creators.
The show's main theme (my profile outlines my grading criteria) seems to be of the aspirations of the MC, Tomoya Aki, who wants to share an experience he had with the world. Throughout the show, that experience changes as the relationship between Tomoya and the girl he met by chance grows.
The theme is pretty consistent, but it changes to meet the needs
...
of the story as the story changes, which is a good thing. You shouldn't have a goal that gets fulfilled to easily be the basis for an entire story. Books like The Lord of the Rings didn't even get the, "Hey, let's go throw this ring into that volcano," goal until around halfway through book one. When, once they got it, the goal seemed like an impossible task due to its scale.
Most of the characters have some backstory, but they are, for the most part, pretty one-track. Towards the middle, this sorta seems to feel like a harem anime, but I think that path was avoided primarily because the girls all have reasons - besides being with the MC - to hand around with him and all but one have been friends with the MC for at least half a year.
Overall, the story is really good for the limitations it has. It's a slice of life, we're not going to get a large-scale anything. The characters aren't bad, but could definitely be better (I'm tired, I don't really want to go into detail) And finally, there was a lot of humor.
Oh also, there are plenty of times in which you wouldn't want your mom to walk in.

In terms of originality, this anime seems to be lacking. I personally wouldn't know because this happens to be the fourth full anime I've watched (other being 'Chuunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai,' 'Boku no Hero Academia,' and 'Sword Art Online.'
This feels like a 'Charlie Brown' of Anime. For those of you who've read the old Charlie Brown comic strips or perhaps watched one of the several movies that have come out over the decades, you'll see the connection.
...
This anime was probably not trying to go for too much originality, the synopsis was literally, "My step-sister, with whom I live alone, is a shut-in and apparently we work together in the Light-Novel industry" + Romance.
If you don't like that, don't watch it.
Also it's a Rom-Com, idk how many people enjoy that sort of thing, but I do, so take that.
Take my review with a grain of salt because as I've said before, I've only watched a few anime. (And I enjoyed SAO for crying out loud) So, I might revisit this in a year or so when I've watched more.
After rewatching, I'm really excited for a season 2!
