I'll try to not spoil things on this review as much as i can, I'm writing this review fresh after watching it so i haven't reflected about it too much to give a more deep review, this review is more based on how i felt about this movie.
Deep Sea is the result of a machine that has been getting made and refined after Dreamwork's Kung Fu Panda came out, that movie inspired a needed change of the chinese animation industry that culminated with this movie. Deep sea is probably one if not "THE" best 3d animated movie i've ever seen from the artistic standpoint, it
...
somehow manages to offer the most stunning visuals the indusrty has to offer that is on par or even surpasses the greats like Dreamworks or Pixar, is a technical artistic marvel that deserves to be studied on its looks alone.
Its also a very hectic movie, I would say that once the movie gets to the colorful and animated part it has no downtime until 1 hour and 10 minutes in, that is mainly for the very chinese scenarios and animation style that is just in constant movment at all times, its almost a noise tbh, a noise with a mix of closeup shots and detail shots that are stunning in the midst of all the chaos going on in every scene going on, the movie is basically pulling crazy choreograpies like the one of the bridge fight scene in kung fu panda one but every scene is animated like that or even more, but when the movie starts to calm down and you get air to breath and look at the visuals it makes your jaw drop on how good everything is from an artistic standpoint.
On the story department, while hectic like the animation, it gives you little hints on what is going on really if you are paying a bit of attention, its intended that you pick up on those things that happen in the begining.
Overall i don't have enough words to describe the rollercoaster that this movie is, sadly because the movie hasn't been released properly world wide, probably because of how "chinese" everything is in the movie, from the looks, animation style to the names of the characters and fantasy themes, it won't get the recognition it deserves, be it in the international animation lense or the anime community lense, most anime fans would look at the movies category in MAL and ignore it like every other chinese series in the ONA section and miss what is probably the best animated film of 2023.
Score: 10/10
Despite the middle part of the movie that is chaotic and surreal that can put someone off really quick, the reward you get for finishing it is just great enough to get the movie back into a 10 for me

Here is a short review, this anime is so god damn dogshit on porpus that is just a big shitpost, you question yourself sometimes how can the voice actors not laugh at the cheesy and "cool" lines that the main chracter (Anos) drops, the animation was above your average trash fantasy anime, and the 3d usage was actually really good, if you want to have a good laugh i recommend this anime so bad, if you wanna know what the story is about you have penty of 3/10 reviews that explain it really well.
Like, I can't even be mad at this shit, its so god
...
damn stupid that is rediculusly funny, the sad thing is that I'm pretty sure this is parody, so it doesn't have that feel I got with something like Darwin's game, but still, highly recommended, and unlike most comedy anime I watched back in 2010-14 before making this account it does have really memorable scenes of comedy.

Full on spoiler review because I just talk about some things in specific regarding the show
The show did start with a bang in some way but it didn't end with one but just with a good ending, still, actually quite good anime overall, i was kinda doubting to watch this one becuase all the top reviews that show on the frontpage of this anime are saying how terrible it is and even downplaying the animation of it, the animation did decay from the start till the end, for example at the start the Izetta raiding her rifle had way more organic movement and was more
...
evasive at the beginning than at the end, and yea I know that shots from a camera 10m or just 5m away can look scuffed even more near the end and the background people don’t look good, but the battles shine and some other parts too animation wise, its not something I’ve seen in a lot of recent anime that I watched.
Regarding sound, the sound got the job kinda done, it wasn't good, the whole sound effects part felt like they turned every gun sound effect down removing part of the impact of a bullet being shoot which i think is not a good thing, and the music felt like it had some personality to make it feel different to other shows but at the end of the day is orchestra and that is something that is literally everywhere in anime has, is not the same to have FF7 with orchestra music compared to something from now days because FF7 was the first (i think lol, at least the first i got to experience). I can just say it wasn't entirely generic but i don't dig it either, all animes that have war and nobility always go for the same music type, but i understand this show had to be serious to some regard so they couldn't pull a A Knight's Tale in the sound track putting queen in a knights fight lol.
Now regarding characters even with the Mery Su witch which is kind of expected giving the fact we are putting magic in the fucking XX century what the fuck are you expecting to happen and the other main protagonist is the equivalent of Peta as the protagonist but everyone respect her in this world was really an enjoyable experience, and regarding the Izetta attitude towards the princess it makes sense actually, it was the first friend she had, the first person who didn’t want to kill her like her, she is not like the people her grandma told people where like, basically something similar to this story is in Somali on the library episode that is kind of similar and this was something that has been persistently told to us the spectator several times from start to finish, even tho their relation feels forced in some way and toxic but justified to be toxic regarding how Fine is just someone who thinks a lot about the people and wants to help em but at the same time fucks em up (that is why she is personified Peta with all the animals they rescue ending up dying but without the moral bait and not that much amount of bullshit), making them lose their lives for her stupid head like the 2 guys at the start do, mmm yes let’s take a public train to other city, for sure the country that wants to take our land is not going to hunt us down there, she addresses her stupid attitude towards Izetta near the end when she apologizes to Izetta for literally using her carelessly to a point she couldn’t fucking walk because she didn’t doubt, she didn’t think Germany was about to up their game because of how imprudent she is. The other characters that are not the main 2 where really entertaining though, and actually interesting to watch.
Some things don't get enough time to be developed, by that i mean 2 or 3 that aren't really that major but quite stupid.
After saying all the bad that I can point out easily that bugged me the most I still think this show is well above average though, it has a interesting plot, ,it got me invested enough to watch it in one go with almost no pauses from my part, even with a really flawed protagonist who has a noble cause and says a lot of things but fuck the lives of others and is unable to make the tuff decisions unless it regards Izetta. The direction was actually great, they did foreshadowing for everything, they didn't pull a Steven Universe with the story but they hinted everything, and that everything paid off, the shadow that represents Jonas’s fate (I felt my man, he survived more than one fight and died anyways and not even in combat but to get some loose ends off the game) and even how this affected someone later on, the mysterious book and a bag that Sieg had that ended up getting explained in the previous episode, i know there is some stupid shit here but the show has more good than bad in my eyes, it’s easier to point out why you dislike something than why you like it, but my overall experience was good, and it felt good to watch. Also a thing to point out, the “boring episodes” or build up episodes are actually more than welcome here, they make everything feel worse in a good way, the way characters just die in one shot, not heroic death not nothing, the thing that shocked me first was well, Jonas death, the episode was calm and then this scene came and it was shocking, alongside other scenes, the calmer parts help to contrast the conflict, shows how bad this is to live in, honestly when the guy I from Germany said “so this people are my enemies” talking about the friendly neighbors that felt heavy for me, this isn't a call of duty multiplayer but rather something that actually feels more believable seeing war thru soldiers at some points, even if its dramatized and with some unrealistic attitudes and little things like that.

Violet Evergarden : Eternity and the Auto memory doll is sadly, from the bottom of my heart I hate to say this even after what happened with kyoani, but its underwhelming, it is on par with the show but doesn't surpasses the show, there are even episodes that in less time managed to build a character and make me even cry for their stories which is why i loved the show in the first place, this could have been just another episode really, but as a standalone product it is inferior, the visuals, I think they are even better than the one's seen in the
...
show, which is a problem for bad strangely, the visuals are too beautiful for what the story is, which is sad, and some people expressed this discomfort with the show originally, but in this case is worse because they are more polished and the story isn't that remarkable, i had a smile here and there but the emotion just wasn't there at last for me, this felt like the medium quality episodes from the show but it was 3 episodes and had too much "anime moments", you know, when characters behave in such an anime way, in ways that are not realistic (that the movie doesn't have to be, bit it's setting is playing in counter of this), coming from the 2 newly introduced characters specially Taylor that is a kid and that might be why. In the end it was still some fresh air to see the characters again, but my expectations where probably higher than they should have, this is like what Opposing Forces it to Half-life more than a Half-life 2, i think that might be a way for describing it lol
In a different note that is not part of the review.
I still love Kyoani, no one deserves what happened to them, and even if it wasn't what i thought that doesn't mean i didn't enjoy it, to what i have to say thank you to Kyoani not only for this but for every show of them from the past years, they always managed to be a major exponent in the anime world and the real world, they made music clubs popular in Japan, when i first heard this i was surprised, they had a real world effect on people's lifes, from joining a band to trying to fix your life for your past actions, which there are not enough words to describe how incredible it is. They always tried to bring us the best quality of animation they can offer instead of quantity, which manages to show how good something can look like.

Warning opinion
This anime is utter trash that doesn't understand comedy and video games or video games communities in mmos, on how people found ways into cut content if wow, how people exploit broken games, this hypothetical games is a disaster of game design which would be funny to watch fall apart while the devs try to see how they can change shit without getting the community angry because they unintentionally designed some "features" like what happened with gunz gameplay that was so broken the developers didnt know how to change it or improve it. Or skate 3 no more explanation needed, when you deliver a
...
broken game you either fail and try to fix it (ff14, for honor kinda, r6s, etc.) or let the beautiful mess be, but this game, this game is a skate 3 the game is in a state you have to deal with it as a dev and figure out how to change your game regarding the user meta, the problem is, there is no meta, meta takes less than a month to get started or less if the game is too broken.
In shot what i mean with this little rant is this show had the pieces to make a fun actually comedy show but instead delivered garbage op isekai cute girl #58 that is as inteligent as a can of baked beans that has the vit 100 but in reality she boosted luck because she happens to get everything by accident with generic epic friend #856 that happens to be another cute girl.
As a gamer and probably video game addict this show felt like someone spits on my face more thsn mom isekai, i will finish it at some point, and edit this crappie y review if the rest of it changes my mind.

Its so bad its actually ridiculous and funny, characters are really stupid in some cases, there is a chance of you either loving this or just hating it with your guts.
As a technical standpoint the sound design is really good with all the hit sound effects and everything feels like the sounds you would hear in a movie like karate kid from 2010 (i think?), the story is just stupid after episode one alongside its characters and the animation worsens the more you watch it, the more you watch the more you notice the artstyle is odd and ugly in a lot of cases and
...
even edgy. Its so wacky in some way its funny to watch. Good laugh
6/10
This show is my guilty pleasure

Tanaka-kun is a manga that brings a smile to my face every time i read a character, because of the problems it usually show, they are not really a big deal and its about students living a day by day life which their only preoccupations are what i so about this thing or this other thing, nothing epic, nothing really serious going on like for example Sakuraso or things like that, just wholesome shit going on in almost every episode, to give an example of the amount of seriousness this has a character had a personality crisis because she couldn't be as lazy as Tanaka,
...
or one that a character cannot seem to know what club to join, its normal students problems without a stress or a story going on that connects the plot or anything. What I'm trying to say its, a little fun thing to read that will make you smile and have zero stress becuase its not trying to teach you about life or anything like that.

Just Because! is one of those animes that is not for everyone and most people are going to hate as you can see in the treads of the forum because it has a "major flaw" that is you don't know the back story of the characters other than a few things.
This anime doesn't aboard itself like a regular high school slice of life anime, you are just a camera following the characters in 3rd year of high school struggling with what this year represents and see them struggle with life without knowing this characters backstory which is why i love this, its just life in
...
a really stressful year of a lot of people's life because it represents going into adulthood and what you are going to do with the rest of your life. Highly recommend this anime to someone that is in a similar situation to any characters here because i think this anime has a really good message even with all the depressing vibes the overall color palette gives alongside the phasing and characters emotions.

"Hoshiai no Sora is not your average sports anime" its worst.
In short it lacks depth in the sports part and animation, the drama part lacks how to do drama properly and feels like a soap opera instead like "que estas haciendo con la liciada" levels.
Trying to address modern day problems won't make your show better or more competent at all, and its not a new concept, nothing presented in this show other than the soft tennis club kids having drama its a new concept, but this show has the problem of trying to bite more than what it can eat ending up with
...
a bunch of sub stories that don't progress, lack depth and are ridiculous at a point that i was just laughing at the whole thing on how unbelievable it was, I know fiction is built upon things that are rare which makes the interesting for the most part in this case 8 punching bags who have bad parents, but this show its too much, it treats its problems in a unrealistic way, it just treats its problems like a caricature of reality, if you want to address real problems address them well or at last give more time for shit to progress, there is no need to have 8 punching bags that one of the has its own episode, this is not gumball, you don't have to do that, instead try to make a smaller thing with the time you have if you know what you are doing, i know this was supposed to be 25 eps but its just 12 but i don't thing even with more 13 episodes this thing could be better, maybe it could, maybe when the producers see it made profit which i do not know if it did want to let the director do the second part and i end up amazed with the show, but for what he have now this show is a joke for the drama genre, and i say that being one of the persons who gave Pancreas a good grade when that shit is generic as fuck because i had some kind of enjoyment out of it.
This show has nothing special to offer other than a good idea and terrible execution that got me exited at first but fucked up by the end of it.

This "review" its kinda super subjective, the why of the 9 i gave to this anime its simple, its like re-experiencing the wii game Fragile Dreams in some way, that game is one of my personal favorites, and this anime had that feeling and surpassed it, with the melancholic depressing tone of a post-apocalyptic world, the difference, this world its actually one I the spectator don't recognize as my own, its too different to what we have now, which made me have a similar experience as the girls to what the fuck was going on in this twisted version of the earth.
Now being serious, this
...
anime could be described as the most depressing and melancholic wholesome thing i have watched so far, seeing the girls just being 2 girls in a world this broken and lost. Simply an amazing experience from my end, because they managed to do something as good and even better to one of my favorite wii games and for what they archived to communicate to me the spectator, simply an amazing experience. Overall this thing cracked my heart which is why i give it a 9, also the animation and tone its really good :u.
