*No Spoilers Here*
What a great anime we have here.
When I first started watching this I was a bit hesitant on whether or not I would enjoy this. I was mainly put off by the art in the anime. After watching this I haven't learn't not to judge an anime by looks and how long it has been around.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When they cry) was what I was looking for in a horror anime. It was the first anime that sent shivers down my spine and made me want to look away from the screen during some scenes.
Story: Maebara Keiichi moves to
...
a village that goes by the name of Hinamizawa. Hinamizawa is known for it's small population and horrifying secrects. Keiichi meets four girls, Mion Sonozaki, Satoko Houjou, Rika Furude and Rena Ryuugu. They become very close friends and Keiichi ends up joining their club at school. Peace comes to an end as Keiichi learns about the current and pass secrets of Hinamizawa. This is spilt up into six arcs that range from two to six episodes long.
Art: Higurashi's art is pretty good. It definitely a lot different than current art styles in anime but it really was good. No heavy colours were used and the flow throughout the anime was superb.
Sound: I felt the voice acting was amazing, characters can go from being in a really good and jolly mood to sounding like they have muderous intentions. Background music was nice really went with the animation. The OP wasn't that bad, I skipped the OP for 11 episodes and then realized it wasn't that bad. The ED however I didn't like too much.
Character: What I really like about the characters in this anime is that each of the main characters get an arc explaining their story and how it contributes to the main plot. If I had to pick a favourite character I would have to say Rika Furude was mine. She is so young and says the cutest things but if someone messes with her she has a whole different side to the cute little girl.
Enjoyment: To begin with I wasn't really interested in the first two or three episodes but after I really did have fun watching the anime. Each episode had a cliff hanger which lead me to wanting more and more. I'm a really big fan of mysteries and stuff that messes with your head and I think that is what really stood out about Higurashi.
Overall: If you really are into the whole murder, mystery and psychological, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is a must watch.
For all those who are wondering yes there is a sequel to Higurashi which i'm yet to watch but when I do I will definitely write a review on it!

*MAY CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS*
The monogatari series currently consists of 6 different seasons, Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari:Kuro, Monogatari Series Second Season, Hanamonogatari, Tsukimonogatari and Owarimonogatari (Kizumonogatari will be released in 3 different parts early on in the next year).
Nisemonogatari is the second in the monogatari series. Nise has two different arcs, Karen Bee and Tsukihi Phoenix.
Story: The Karen Bee arc consists of 7 episodes were as Tsukihi Phoenix has 4. Both are arcs were enjoyable. Kaiki Deishu deceives people for a living as a "Specialist", he ends up deceiving The Fire Sisters (Karen and Tsukihi, Araragi Koyomi's sisters) and placing an abberation upon one of
...
them. As usual Arargi tries to dispose of the abberation but finds it more difficult as Meme, Oshino left town.
Art: Same art as the rest of the monogatari series but hey, i'm not complaing.
Sound: Nise had 3 different OP themes, "Futakotome" by Hitagi Senjougahara (Chiwa Saito), "marshmallow justice" by Karen Araragi (Eri Kitamura) and "Hakkin Disco" by Tsukihi Araragi (Yuka Iguchi). The ED theme was "Naisho no Hanashi" by ClariS an. All of the themes were great but if I had to pick a favourite it would be Hakkin Disco.
Character: Like the last review I will go over one character. That character being: Oshino, Shinobu. In Bakemonogatari, Shinobu was pretty quiet, but that changed in Nise. In "Tsubasa Cat" (arc in Bake) she started living in Araragi's shadow. She can sense the emotions in Arargi and does not need to suck his blood to live as she is in his shadow.
Enjoyment: Something about the monogatari series just puts a smile on my face. The season added a lot more mystery and wonder to my mind which I love.
Overall: If you watched Bakemonogatari and liked it you will certainly love Nisemonogatari.

*CONTAINS MINOR SPOILERS*
The monogatari series currently consists of 6 different seasons, Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, Nekomonogatari:Kuro, Monogatari Series Second Season, Hanamonogatari, Tsukimonogatari and Owarimonogatari (Kizumonogatari will be released in 3 different parts later on in the next year).
Bakemonogatari at first was confusing, I had no idea what was going on and I could not keep up with all of the talking but in a couple of episodes everything started making sense.
Story: Araragi Koyomi is in third year at Naoetsu Private High School, he has two sisters and through out the story he gains a lot of friends. During a day at school he comes across a
...
mysterious girl by the name of Hitagi Senjougahara and saves her from a crab aberration with the help of a Specialist, Meme Oshino. The story goes on as Araragi saves mulitple girls from different types of abberations.
Art: The art for me gave a satisfying feeling when watching Bake. Shaft has done a wonderful job with animation in Bake and the rest of the monogatari series.
Sound: Bake had 5 different OP themes for a 15 episode series "staple stable" by Chiwa Saito, "Kaerimichi" by Emiri Kauto, "Ambivalent world" by Miyuki Sawashiro, "Renai Circulation" by Kana Hanazawa and "Sugar Sweet Nightmare" by Yui Horie". The openings were all great but I was in love with the ED theme "Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari" by supercell.
Character: I'm not going to go over every character but just to point out the main character "Araragi Koyomi". How he deals with all of the girls and abberation while maintaining a stable relationship is beyond me. He cares for each charater and has a special bond with all of them.
Enjoyment: Once I started I could not stop. Every episode for me was a cliff hanger. I have never had the urge to rewatch an anime before but I'm most likely to with Bake.
Overall: While I find this anime amazing some people may find it boring or just dumb but that won't change my opinion on it. I strongly recommended it for everyone but don't judge it by the first episode, try watch it through.

This is my first time writing a review for an anime.
*No Spoilers*
Kekkai Sensen was one of my favourite anime that I've watch so far.
Plot:
The plot was all the place but I was still able to tell what was going on. At times I did get confused and I still have some questions about this anime.
Art:
...
The animation was outstanding and the art style was nice and refreshing.
Sound:
The soundtrack for this anime is amazing, it is hard too pick my favourite between the opening and ending songs.
Character:
I liked all of the characters but one thing that I didn't like was the fact that some characters didn't get enough attention as they should off.
Enjoyment/Overall:
Well in the end, waiting for the last episode to be released wasn't such a bad thing, in my opinion it was worth the wait. After each episode I watch I found myself wanting more and more. Unfortunately, some of my questions floating around my head reguarding the anime did not get answered but judging on the last clip of episode 12 we might be expecting a season 2(keyword is might). I would recommend this anime highly to all.
Please don't leave any hate, don't forget this is just an opinion.
