I feel obligated to submit a review for this season's finale. This is how I've felt for a long time after seeing Mugen Train.
Perhaps the only anime that puts ensembles into non-musical glasses is Hibike Euphonium.
Thank you KyoAnimation for this wonderful work. They portrayed the interactions between the students as humanly as possible - flaws, inferiority, jealously, cooperation, hardwork, victory.
The way the teenagers interacted with each other facing the inevitable situations in real life is something I sincerely admire; they are incredibly mature. The choice of words they used in the moment of anger is truly praiseworthy.
The musicals are fantastic; they captured the
...
idea that every day effort is what ultimately contributed to the short 15-19 minutes extraordinary performance. The power of daily practice.
10/10.
Human connections, shortcomings and inadequacies.
Humanity: demonstrating how distinctively different we may all be from one another yet nevertheless functioning as a single, "perfectly" cohesive unit ensemble here.
Kumiko is a fantastic character.
An extra, Mayu Kuroe is a wonderful and strong character. Just as Kumiko couldn't dislike her, so am I. How Kumiko dealt with her and her disappointments is truly mature and praiseworthy.

For a person who has enjoyed Japanese works for many years (video games, manga, animation, and at least light novels), Summer Wars surely is the archetypal work of the Land of the Rising Sun.
Of hope, family, embitterment, never giving up, miracles, and triumphs in the end. Well, life is about hope and trying or giving our best; otherwise, there wouldn't be any steps for progress forward.
This game reminds me a lot of Final Fantasy XVI. When all seems lost, there's still hope.
Art: 6-7/10 The art was great in the year it was produced.
Characters: 6-7/10 Typical Japanese characters.
Plot: 9/10 I like it when all hopes are
...
lost and a new one springs out. Believing is never easy, but without believing, there's no miracle to happen without work sprouting from the initial belief and hope.
I'm a plot person.
9/10

Les Misérables is a good classical read rich with life's hard lessons.
This omnibus version is wonderfully drawn. The story is 10/10 to me, without much introductory need; it is derived from one of the best musicals of all time. Again, of all times.
Art: 6-7/10
It matches the vibes and settings of the story at those times.
Nothing spectacular, but it's above average for me.
Story: 10/10
Without any music, the story still able to power through from the original and captures me a lot. We can learn plenty from here if our hearts are ready for it.
...
Characters: 7-8/10
The characters resonate well with you. They made you feel grateful and think twice before making miserable decisions, and it is important to be educated (reading as many good books as possible) because without knowledge we will make poor choices, even if our hearts are filled with good intentions. Ignorance is undoubtedly self-destructive.
People can change and cannot. Those who can change, please don't ever look back at the past to haunt you or destroy you. The past is past as a matter of fact; it is called past and not present for a reason.
Your background can and cannot determine who you are in the future. Take Val Jean, or the best Eponine and Gavroche; they are the best examples of whether you are rich or poor, highly educated or not, your parents - lineage, or perhaps what you have previously done; they do not have power over who you are now and in the future if you deny the past and embrace the future after paying the price needed.
You truly have the freedom to choose; you are not constrained by the past. The opposite is one of the biggest and destructive falsehoods in life.
It really made me think of Paul in the New Testament.
Rating: 10/10
I enjoy reading moral lessons-based mangas.
I'm looking forward to read the last Omnibus entry in December 2023.
Cheers!

You can hardly find anything you hate about this manga because you will learn to forgive any imperfection that is in this workpiece.
This JOSEI Manga ls 10/10
The theme of this manga is: family, brotherhood, marriage between husband and wife, and kindness.
Love is a healing balm when we choose to extend it to others while also receiving it for ourselves.
It taught me that it all comes down to an individual's choice to do good and love regardless of one's circumstances and background: being poor and past mistreatment are not obstacles or hurdles to doing good and carving a great future ahead.
Allow yourself to be
...
healed; your story begins if you choose to be your best self continually.
Family life is about love, loss, sacrifice, acceptance, and kindness.

Shikioriori 8/10 but uniquely enough for me to write a review for the kind you to give it a try
This movie's theme is: REGRET
I know we humans are bitterly imperfect, but please give your best. I plead with you to do it every time.
This movie's storytelling is different from the usual. 3 individuals with their own monogatari (story).
Each has made a mistake by not trying their best in their own respective way.
1/ Not trying to confront his own feelings and always choosing to watch from sideways
2/ Misplacing her priority between work and family. A major setback e is part of life, stay strong.
3/ Acting based
...
on anger or bitter feelings is the worst self-punishment. You can lose things forever; please give your best: time, effort, and whatever shame you may think you need to go through.
This movie didn't leave a bad taste for me. I can say that giving or striving for my best will make me satisfied, it's a wrong notion that the world has been preaching: you try harder, and you fall harder when you lose (It's a falsehood) Only when you try harder does the door open wider. Same as when the world claims love hurts (It's not entirely true; love is the essence of a true knitting connection that heals all wounds, even all the hurt you have been through).
I just want my fellow bros and sisters here to not regret living: By striving to be your best (don't give in to fear, shame, and whatever is holding you back), we will sail through; without trying, we stand to have zero chance; 0%.

Cat Street. Short and almost perfect Shoujo manga.
The Cat Street is the only 5/5 Shoujo manga i rated out of the 20–25 Shoujo mangas I have read from MAL suggested lists, Youtube recommendations, and random Mangakatana comments.
Story:
If you prefer minimal love polygon and dramas This may be the best option for you.
This story revolves on Keito who collapsed after a major setback in her life.
A tale about how healing can begin and how to taking things one step at a time and it's fine to make a few minor steps back but importantly you're moving forward.
The story of a warrior of her
...
own life. Treasuring herself much more after losing so much.
Character:
Since I will be concentrating solely on the female lead, her portrayal is excellent. Her development and transformation are realistic to me since I can relate to my own. Everyone experiences hardships or trials at some point; but recovering from major ones is brutally difficult especially when you lost your own identity.
But the recovery is attainable just like Keito and many others too. You might not ended up doing the same thing again that you initially considered as successful but in reality success comes in many ways and that is the truth as the sun rises in the east.
Your talents are not wasted. You are you and the better version of you.
Art:
6 out of 10. In the entire total numbers Shoujo mangas I read mentioned above, I have also saw many not too attractive female leads. However, Keito is a simple drawn stunning young woman, she gave off the aura of an idol immediately.
Conclusion:
If you're looking for a story of someone changing for good in the Shoujo genre comics, but do not want them to be unduly drawn out or filled with unnecessary dramas and love triangles. This will be a good pick.
8.5-9/10 is when measured against all the mangas I have read.

Wake Up, Sleeping Beauty is totally different shojo manga I've read.
This is the only Shojo manga I've rated almost perfect score 9/10. Because no matter how good the previous shojo mangas I've read, comparing them in general to all the mangas i have enjoyed, they should be about 8/10 max.
If you're looking for the usual shojo fix you have been enjoying, this may not be the right one for you or you're hoping for.
Wake Up, Sleeping Beauty doesn't thread the usual shojo manga route (love triangle, cliche bully, disrespectful behaviour coming from the male mc, excessive comedy).
This manga is heavily focused on family-orientated pace
...
which what makes this manga stands out for me. Stressing on the most neglected theme of our times now: Family and blending in almost in harmony with romance.
Regardless the lacking of the usual Shojo taste has to offer, I strongly reckon you to give this a try, for you will never know this may be to your liking or the many messages the author wanted to share with the readers could be the ones you need as a push or change in your life.
Family is forever.

If the animation done right, 90% animes out there don't even hold a candle to this master piece.
An elegant, fantasy-action work.
Majo to Yajuu or The Witches and the Beast is the Epitome of witch story which one can indulge in. To be exact, I read a variety of manga genres; but narrowing down to fantasy/magic/witch theme which the current time has to offer, such as: "Witch Hat Atelier" and "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" This one is S-tier list in term of fantasy. I admit each has its own unique way to serve the dish which what makes Frieren and Atelier altogether good read, but
...
"The Witches and the Beast" world building and fantasy complexity is on a whole new level, it is GOAT so far.
I'm more into Shojo and Slice-of-life genres lately, switching from Shounen/Seinen because i'm slightly numb with the usual fights they could offer and lately, I couldn't reread a really good Shounen/Seinen twice. for example: "Kaiju No. 8"
But "The Witches and the Beast" action and fantasy work is compelling enough, I didn't feel boring reading the second time.
Story: Awesome, Masterpiece
A duo on a journey with the same shared goal, but one vowed to kill the other after it's over (could change in the end).
This beyond imaginative Mangaka's work on the premise of Witches, Necromancy, Different Factions in Ruling Society, and the complexity of all them dived deep in, not superficially which many have done previously.
Art: Magnificently Drawn
I thought Witch Hat Atelier could be just the only if not very few beautifully drawn mangas out there, but this one is almost on par if not the same. Talented work.
FIght Scenes: Great
The only worry i have is will the nominated studio be able to bring out the maximum potential of the manga into animation. 9/10 fighting scenes.
Emotions/Characters:
All the arcs so far were great, no redundancy
Backdrop of the characters' past done timely and neatly.
Victims/Villains 8/10 so far.
Verdict:
Yokohama Animation Laboratory hopefully go all in animating this work.
I will generously give this 10/10. (Chapter 55)
Personal opinion, taste varies as to our personalities/preferences too.

I came to give this review because as a grown-up person, I cried reading this one-shot for the second time again.
Just as "Watashitachi no shiawase na jikan" is the perfect epitome of 'Forgiveness' theme.
Tokidoki is the perfect display of what "Charity" is. One can debate what he did was for his own sake. However, he did really mentioned to her he wanted to cheer her on with all his heart.
I can't find another best anime rivaling to this: a person who knows so little about the other (a stranger) to be able to give this much.
Tokidoki is again the best portrayal of
...
charity, it is above kindness. I believe this manga will turnout to be at least be a surprise to you, the kindness is out of pure intent, not asking anything in return. 10/10
If you enjoy slice of life mangas, i would recommend:
Watashitachi no shiawase na jikan or Our Happy Hours.
After the Rain or Koi wa Ameagari no You ni
I sold my life for 10,000 yen a year.

Forgiveness is the theme of this manga, and it is not sugar-coated yet beautifully executed. I can't find any other manga could touch on this heavy theme beautifully.
This is a story of forgiveness and what it could lead to. The female main character indeed leads a happier life by choosing to apply this virtue in her life which she couldn't earlier. Is this unrealistic? At least for me, it's not; forgiving someone actually takes away our burdens, while the other person who refuses to ask for our forgiveness is the one who is holding the burden.
Besides that, this manga hits on me because
...
it explains everyone has the responsibility to live the gift of life in an indirect way, that we shouldn't give up on ourselves. All the chapters build up for the last few manga panels of the final chapter's to deliver the message perfectly. To the one person who despise living wholeheartedly, turning over a new life.
